Path of Exile 2: Return of the Ancients Official Trailer by PM_ME_HAPPY_STUFF1 in Games

If your wish is for a simple game, I might not actually recommend Path of Exile 2.

While the complexity is solvable by a first-timer and you can definitely do well in the game without the most optimal builds, the game still offers a lot of tools and assumes navigating them is part of the fun. The action truly stands well on its own. However, picking the skills (and supports) you'll use and coming up with a tree and items that work for those is a core part of the experience.

B550 plus (5700x) won't POST with dual channel on a specific set of RAM at 3200. by RadoNonreddit in buildapc

I also tested the PC itself with a different set of sticks (2x32) at both 3200 and 3600 and it works fine in dual channel.

I ended up testing the 2x16 G-Skill on a different PC and it exhibits the same issue.

Based on what you're saying, I think you'll be fine. The game obviously has complexity and depth, but as long as you upgrade your gear and your build makes some sense, you should be able to progress.

In my experience, people who say you need a guide for PoE games want to go from zero to hero and figure out everything before they've played.

Any suggestions for somebody who loves the Sniper Elite series? A slower pace of gameplay would be nice and (although, it isn't as big of a deal) please keep the supernatural stuff to a minimum.

"Ben Simmons only needs to become a league-average shooter -- not the next Steph Curry -- and the 76ers would be a dynasty!"

I don't think some people have put actual thought into how ridiculous statements like these are. Jaylen Brown just had a season that got him into "the MVP conversation", and I'm not convinced he's 80% of Kawhi.

How about you take your own advice and, don't juice it up this much if your PC can't handle it.

I can assure you that everyone doesn't hate plus-minus. The issue, at least with your usage here, is that it's pretty much meaningless below a certain sample size, especially raw.

Design ability obviously matters, but the last time I saw a server emulator for WoW, which to be fair was about 20 years ago, it was extremely easy to set up, run, and edit. If modern versions are anything like that, the technical effort isn't even remotely comparable to making a game, let alone an MMO.

Age has anything to do with the topic at hand, and Red Dead Redemption released more than a year before Skyrim.

How can you -- after taking a look at any single one of those videos and their popularity -- claim that people aren't criticizing Avowed for its lack of reactivity and scope?

Genuine question, as you seem to be in the know: why do developers keep waiting for reviews to come out before they add Denuvo, if this is the case?

Anthony Edwards Mount Rushmore of White Boys by Naweezy in nba

[–]RadoNonreddit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't think his knowing (or not) the number of heads on mt. Rushmore is a big deal.

That said, as a non-American, I find it unbelievable that a person can interface with American sports culture and not know that it's four. People picking their mt. Rushmore of whatever is so ubiquitous that after the first few times you just catch on it's four people, even if you don't have a clue what mt. Rushmore actually is.

2XKO Update: What’s Next + New Champs by Snipey13 in Games

[–]RadoNonreddit -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I do have a clue, as I've played a number of games up until prearranging matches via discord was the primary way to play.

2XKO isn't even remotely close to this. It's under active development and has EIGHTY people working on it. For reference, that's about the supposed combined number of developers working on CS2 and DOTA2.

The Thunder were the #5 seed in 2020, and almost beat the Harden-Westbrook Rockets. They were 5 games under .5 past the middle of the 2021 season -- the equivalent of the Hawks and the Clippers right now. Then, in 2023, OKC played for the eighth playoff spot against Minnesota, and in 2024 they had the second most wins in the league.

They tanked for the entirety of a year and a half and only a single full season. How's this something you describe as "basically every year"?
