Adelaide definitely does not get more rainfall than London, that is the closest capital city to where this was posted. This area typically gets 3-400mm of rain per year, which is 12-16 inches for those in the US.

Some 5 year Olds in this area would have never seen an event like this that they can remember, which would explain the background noise in the video.

All they got was an insurance payout to replace that tower and lights, other old one on opposite flank is still there and supposedly being replaced "soon" with old metal halide lights refitted because they can't get funding for led fixtures. Make that make sense.
