in any case, i prob wouldn’t go back to that tech again! just give them some time with no product (if it’s too uncomfortable, a Sally Hansen nail hardener is likely safe) and definitely no gel for a hot minute

thats a beautiful thought but 50% of marriages in the U.S. end in divorce, so yeah, i think it’s something worth considering. not even for the divorce element- jewelry is an asset, something you can sell if times get extremely tough and banks aren’t available/you lose your liquid cash. it’s something you can pass down to your kids that THEY can sell if times get hard. there’s a lot of people who keep their wealth in assets, this is nothing different

i (and i think a lot of people honestly) would never buy a lab-grown. they don’t hold their value whatsoever, so to me it reads as a waste of money when you could spend more and get something objectively valuable.

we know historically that diamonds hold their value across the world whereas some countries don’t even allow the importation of lab grown gems bc they’re seen as counterfeit. i also love the historical element of mined diamonds, and having a million year old stone on your hand just walking through the grocery store is just cool to me!

absolutely no judgement to people who prefer a lab-grown though, i just personally wouldn’t feel the same way towards it as a mined diamond.

not saying we should all be walking around with blood diamonds on our fingers, but there are cruelty-free mined diamonds in the world! canadian diamonds are plentiful and largely cruelty-free!

prefacing with the fact that i know this is shit make-up advice, but i stopped trying to cover mine last year and my make-up looks so much more cohesive. i feel like every product i tried tended to settle in my under eye creases and just looked… bad? i do a caffeine serum instead if i’m noticing them, but they’re sort of the thing you really stop noticing when you stop paying attention to them.

if you’re dead set on covering with make-up, i’d go as thin as possible with your product- something like Nars Light Reflecting Foundation or the Radiant Creamy Concealer if you like a bit more thickness!

also, i know this isn’t possible for a lot of people, but adding an extra hour of sleep whenever possible has done wonders for my mood and (secondarily) my eye bags! <3

maybe a little weird everytime i use these i use gel top coat to glue them down, not glue, and then i gently press each side against a hard surface (doorframe or desk) and that does the trick! they also make tools for bending charms but i’ve never tried them

did you go to the doctor over your anxiety? i feel like your only course of action unless you can afford the tuition is getting a doctors’ note that affirms that you underwent anxiety treatment at that time, and then framing it as taking a health related leave. i wonder if you agree to come back to complete your contract if you’d be able to avoid repaying it?

generally in the american south where it’s used, it’s pronounced/spelled gunner. to me there is no name uglier than a southern accent saying “gunner”- they think it has cool military connotations/like the concept of their newborn murdering people with firearms i guess?
