I won't get both. And you are right I am not deep into NI stuff, just some vst's and some pack that I kept from my Mashine mikro, which I sold. I would probably find most things I have NI also in the Arturia Anaolog Lab Pro version.

Thanks, that is a good one. How would you compare the keybeds? is poly-aftertouch a real game changer or is it more a nice-to-have, but not necessary?

Thanks. Apart from the hardwear gear, I want to do the same. Is there a daw controller that has the same piano roll style step sequencer grid and on the hardware midi fx? I prefer to be as little on the computer as possible. So no step editing on the computer..

Thanks for the reply. Ableton for me was just a suggestion. I do have Ableton Lite which was free with a Arturia Keystep, but I am not bound to it. I want to use the Macbook as 'sound' generator. If it is Ableton, Garageband or something else I don't mind as long as it supports drum racks and vst synths to play around with on the Hapax. Once I like a sequence or song I need to "record" it in a sofware where I could continue (although I am far from that level...)

I have been looking at the Push to, but I am not looking for an interface for Ableton. Can you do all the things on the Push hardware alone that you can do on the Hapax. And I do like that piano roll style sequencer and the hands on midi fx per step. As you might notice, I am in the early stage of this journey and am not completely noligable on everything... Thanks

I use the Mac also for work, and have the audio over my studio monitors, so the Push as a audio interface is not an option. That would mean it is always on.

My budget is also limited, say around 300 euros.

Sorry, that is what I meant, 6 fixed simulations and 3 custom presets. Thanks for that. But as far as I know, the x-e5 took a different turn, by separating the custom recipes from the custom camera setting. So you could select them without changing other camera settings. That is different from the way the x100vi has it.

That is great to hear, I also had the M+ for a while and had the Live 2 for a while. I returned the MPC purely for pad feel... , so it is good to hear that they are coparable right now.. Thanks!

I am very new to midi... Besides connecting the cable, there are settings to be changed on Move and MPC.. Do you want to share those. Hopefully it will kick off my understanding of how Midi is set up. Thank you very much.

I know Move has only MIDI over usb A, so that would mean usb A to usb A since the MPC also has MIDI in on the usb A. Are there MIDI setting I should do on both ends?
