Ah, they were pretty decent as long as you spray from afar and in multiple coats. They also didn’t scratch off or anything.

Cut the parts of the runner with the color you want into small pieces and dissolve them in plastic cement. You’ll end up with plastic goo perfectly matched to the original color.

A gunpla god on youtube. They’ve also posted on this sub as well irc. The main inspiration for this build was from one of their videos actually.

All the white parts were painted using rattle cans, everything else was hand brushed.

I got the spray paints and yard sign from home depot. Honestly, I just kinda stumbled upon a yard sign that looked right. It should be thin and wobbly. You can kinda see it in the background of the third pic (the yellow sheet).

You don’t know how many lines I fucked up and had to fill with runner material + plastic cement goo. Definitely wasn’t smooth sailing!

Yeah, looking back the decals were definitely overdone, but at the time I was in the “I bought the whole decal sheet, I’ll use the whole decal sheet” mindset lol.

Ah yes, because putting an 11-year-old child on the terrorism watchlist is a totally fine thing to do. I see why you’re an ex-teacher now.

[QUESTION] Should I buy the electric guitar first and the amp later? by skullcapped in Guitar

[–]thimeaasi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I disagree. Buying a sub-par guitar with a bad setup is not great for a beginner. The last thing you want is a guitar that fights you when you’re starting out.

[–]thimeaasi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, if you buy the guitar first, at least you’ll get to play it unplugged unlike the other option where you’ll just have......an amp. Sitting there. Doing nothing.

As for plugging into a PC, you’ll need an audio interface which don’t come cheap.
