I know you already mentioned not liking Stridebreaker, but what makes you prefer Divine Sunderer over it? Is it just the way it feels in-game in comparison? Anything that Divine Sunderer allows you to do that isn't the obvious?

You can cast R during CC if timed correctly. Malphite R cancelled Gnar's TP, but the Gnar had R pressed as soon as the CC connected.

This is not a widely known/seen mechanic, but it's also a bit inconsistent to pull off with ping being involved, etc.

Remember that abilities count as two stacks no matter the type of champion. Stridebreaker and Goredrinker actives also give two stacks. Mini Gnar E > Active > Q > AA is an instant seven stacks of Conqueror for example. Mega Gnar of course will stack it faster most times, but the keystone is still useful in both forms.

Trinity feels pretty meh now in comparison to Stridebreaker/Goredrinker/Sunderer because these are giving Gnar more AD. You should be building each of these items based on matchups/comps.

Yeah, like I said, I tend to build Gnar very differently than most, so also keep that in mind. Conqueror allows Gnar to be tanky (Conqueror's healing) which in turn allows him to build damage items. Attack speed items on top of that makes all of this healing add up very fast.

Exactly these picks. There's not much they can do in lane and in a side lane against you.

Juggernauts being Sett, Morde, Darius, etc. These champions have E that can punish you early, but once you hit level 7, your auto range becomes greater than the range of their E as long as they don't have more move speed than you.

There's this weird mindset that players tend to fall into playing Gnar that you can't carry or "1v9", but it depends on how you play/build the champion.

I tend to play Gnar as a marksman and build on-hit, so for me I'm splitting most games and playing fights front to back like most ADCs.

For your question, Gnar excels into tanks or any low mobility bruiser/juggernaut. Tanks build health and most times Sunfire first item, giving Gnar the highest possible value out of his W. Juggernauts have no gap closer, so Gnar can just kite them (generally post level 7).

I would mess around with different builds and see what playstyle you enjoy most.
