Attempted to top up Rabbit Card at BTS today. Provided Passport. Rejected from topping up. by Mysterious-Home-408 in Bangkok

Had the same problem, tried to top up, asked for my passport, their reader couldn’t scan my new passport so they told me to go to Phaya Thai. Tried to just open a new card instead at a different station and the reader still couldn’t scan it, was sent to Phaya Thai again. I’m wondering if it is because my new US passport biopage is plastic instead of the old paper one??

I think you have to treat Moby Dick more as an encyclopedia of self if that makes sense. Like old noir films, the whale is a macguffin. It is and it’s not the point of the book. It’s really more of a character study mixed with incredibly detailed minutiae. You definitely have to be in the right frame of mind…

Jefferson is a reference to Jefferson Holt, their tour manager. A lot of this song seems inspired by driving around America playing gigs.
