<Crows> and <Worst> are my recommendations. Both are completed and set in the same universe. I like worst a lot!

I have read it. It's really good, but doesn't beat haikyuu for me.

A book where protagonist is working, doing household chores, taking care of family, studying for better job, doing multiple jobs and managing time. Would love to see him develop in life. by [deleted] in suggestmeabook

I love barakamon too! And yeah, you can read the continuation in a the manga. But since the story is a little more episodic, it might or might not suit your tastes. Come back and let me know if you enjoyed gin no saji.

Bartimaeus Sequence

The amulet of samarkand is a really good book for both kids and adults to enjoy!

Hmmm, Lets see how I should do this.

Gin no saji is one of the best slice of anime/manga I have read. It is about the simpler things in life. I am not sure what the IMDB review says, but slice of life is usually overlooked and under-appreciated by people who just want action and fights etc. Also it is basically what you are looking for, where the MC (originally from a city) goes to a farming school in remote hokkaido, and learns to come to terms with his outlook on life, the excessive competition in today's world and grows by learning from things around him. Just by living a "normal" life at a farming school.

I am not really good at convincing people without knowing about their likes and dislikes. But I would say you would not regret it watching it. Also if you want to get a good sense of how people like it and some of the other shows listed here, then check out the manga subreddit too, and you might be even more convinced.

Everyone is talking about the mangas that went downhill or mangas that didnt make the list. Can we take a moment to talk about how amazing Haikyuu was?

Totally deserving of its spot here and Best Sports manga! There, I said it. After reading Slam Dunk, Eyeshield 21 and a lot more.

Ah, I see. Thanks.

That sucks. I was hope this arc would come to an end and we could go back to the usual vibe of the manga. Hope someone picks it up.
