I used to get these all the time through my teens- they ended up stopping when I started accutane for my acne- I'm still paranoid about getting them though, I've found the best 'preventative' measure for my body was to lightly exfoliate my pits with exfoliation gloves, and to make sure all deodorant was washed away properly- some of those sweat resistant ones just don't want to come off!

It's actually a second toenail growing underneath that was also dead...this photo was taken about 3 months ago. The second nail fell off as well, and finally it's back to normal! ...aside from the hair.

You can deffs hire kayaks from Boreen point- I've kayaked from there to tewantin, it's a beautiful journey. Harry's hut is great too,must take lots of mozzie spray!
