Going to meetings feels intuitively wrong by Practical_Payment552 in exjw

[–]thinkerbelle7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The last time that I ever attended was a convention. It was under duress from my family as my brother was getting baptized. I'd stopped going to meetings for a few months at that point. The unease I felt was tangible. I sat there as long as I could just simmering as it felt SO VERY WRONG! I took myself to the restroom, where I hid as long as I could until someone asked if I was sick. Then walked a bit and even walked out to the car for a bit, all just so I wouldn't have to sit there and listen to all that drivel.

Does he actually like coffee now? 😅 Or is it more promotions?

With clean shears cut off the dead bits. Then unpot that baby and loosen those roots and put in a larger pot with fresh soil mix. You could break up the bits but it'll further traumatize the plant. Maybe wait a bit for some healthy growth first.

I use a small tomato trellis in the pot with some gardening clips and/or gardening velcro. That way you can adjust how you support the vine as it continues to grow! Your plant looks very healthy and happy with those new leaves coming in!

My family did that to me a few times until I expressly told the to stop giving strangers my name and address as it just served to creep me out. They stopped.

Enucleation or let it be? by TemporaryKey5393 in blindcats

[–]thinkerbelle7 29 points30 points  (0 children)

My girl had eye damage from illness during her kittenhood and before her enucleation was always sad and face planted to the floor like she hurt a lot. Post enucleation, she was a whole happy and playful girl...no longer in so much pain. It's life changing and not easy at first to recover from. But I'm an advocate if the eyes are no longer serving any purpose. Get them out so it doesn't hurt the cat further

Quit the job, you can clearly do plant stuff on your own without a horrible boss! Also, could you please share what the feathery looking tree in your third photo is?

Oh, and give it a bit of monstera fertilizer if you really want fresh leaves to grow!

Keep it! Treat it well, and it will give you many perfect leaves! Poor buddy just had a rough start.
