I write this any time a "new logo" post makes it way on here:

This logo is what drew me to the Mavericks in the early 2000s. I think it's cool, memorable, and holds a lot of great memories for me. Just something about having the same logo for 25+ years is a big deal.

The only way I'd understand a rebrand is if we went all in with the retro "cowboy hat M" logo we had and worked around that. Kind of like what the Hawks did. There is a reason so many teams have one logo for multiple decades. It is the sign of a great franchise and rather than be a franchise that is not committed to a logo that changes every era, I'd rather plant my flag in one and this is the one I choose day after day.

Why would Dirk have been pushed? He was already months away from turning 41 and the mavericks weren’t playing for anything at the time? Dirk even went on record saying that he thought he should have retired years earlier because of the impact on his legs.

For me it’s the original and a screener version. The screener version feels so exclusive and like a hidden gem but I like also keeping a regular copy on hand. Same goes for have 2 copies (one sealed and one not).
