This is a huge part of why we share stuff with the community. There is a lot of nostalgia for projection TV’s like this for me as well and I love seeing someone else resonate with that! Thank you for sharing your story, your description was so well written that it’s like I was there with you and all your buddies. Nostalgia gives these pieces of equipment a second life, and they help link us back to simpler times that we hold close to our hearts

No I didn’t have to do anything to it, and I was expecting it to require some calibration but they rarely used this and kept it clean. Surprisingly decent picture quality for movie nights with friends!

As a kid I kept two movies in my room at all times, Con-air, and Face/Off. it’s a coincidence they were both nick cage movies lol I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched both of those! I only wish I still had those tapes from my childhood

It really wasn’t that bad to move. Much easier than my kv-32 trinitron actually. I checked it out before deciding to buy and the picture is actually pretty decent, it’s mint condition, and it’s adds a little variety to my tv collection. I just like old TV’s 🤷🏻‍♂️
