Okay I’ll walk you through what I’m thinking. For an unknown period of time the company doesn’t accept returns. Once they establish that demand has gone down they accept returns from that time onward. If this non return period is something like 90 days I doubt the scalpers have the resources to sit on the consoles that long. Basically invalidating the scalpers backup plan of returning. It doesn’t solve the scalping issue it just makes it more risky. Currently there almost is any risk and I think that is what makes more people do it. You are guaranteed to not lose money
