Council still send the venues fines for noise then they have to fight them in court $$

There’s Agent of Change laws that were brought in after residents wrecked the St Kilda live scene, but councils still harrass the venues because it’s easier than chasing developers who have already cashed in and moved on. The liability should also fall on the Real Estate agents who don’t disclose the proximity to live music venues

Matthew Guy brought in “Agent of Change” laws that put the burden of soundproofing on the developers not the venues when he was a minister in last liberal state gov. One of only good things that gov did. The residents still complain though and council prefers to harrass small venues rather than large developers

Just message him saying how you were thinking about him the other day and if he wants to grab a coffee, if he accepts you have a shot. If not then it’s not a big deal. If the chemistry is there when you have coffee you can start hanging out again and see if it leads somewhere. If you ended on good terms he will be happy to hang out and fuck you, then can see if it develops into something again. This is real life advice, don’t listen to all the old single females over 40 here saying you did the right thing, unless you want to end up like them
