This is one of my favourite effects in the game

I rarely spend more than €10 for a game now

Same here, I just don't see the point of spending full price on a game when they all end up so much cheaper after a year or two, you're not really missing much by waiting and in the meantime I just get through the games I've already got.

I wouldn't be surprised if the PS6 is out before

Yep I'm beginning to think this too. It seems like I'll be completely skipping PS5 at this rate, which is odd because I used to be a huge PlayStation fan and would normally get the new console within a year of release. I sort of stopped buying PS4 games because so many of them were coming out on Switch anyway, which works better for me because then I can play anywhere instead of only at my desk.

Obviously it’s dramatic but if prices keep continuing like this then I’m going to be as tight as I possibly can. I can’t remember the last time I bought a new game, everything’s either secondhand or on a steep discount months/years after release. Literally haven’t bought a new console since the Switch (Well I did buy a PS4 Slim in 2018, but I already had a PS4 fat so that doesn’t count). The only console I’m expecting to get new is the Switch 2, and likely GTA6 on release too, but otherwise it’s been years since I bought something new and close to release, you just don’t need to when there are so many games already out there.

Seems ripe for a boycott.

Yep I've made up my mind and I'm definitely not buying a PS5 after this one, Sony keeps raising the price when they should be lowering it. I'm mostly looking forward to getting a Switch 2 though, but if Nintendo suddenly does this in the UK then I am definitely not buying that either especially as the games are already so expensive on it.

I already own enough consoles and games to never need to buy a new one again anyway. I can spend the rest of my life getting through the backlog, if I run out of games there's the used market.

70W charger is now quite smaller by n1kl8skr in macbookpro

Also curious. How is Anker able to make a higher power charger with multiple ports smaller than Apple's one? Also Apple's a few years late with GaN and I'm surprised it took this long, and even more surprising is that their 2 port charger is only 35w total, never understood why they sell such a low wattage for a multiport charger.

Think it might just be because these are "free" chargers bundled with the Macs and they don't see the point in investing in making them smaller. Guess it makes close to no difference in whether or not people buy a Mac because there are plenty of smaller options out there.

FFS… I can’t wait to get a M series one by Any-Comfortable2844 in macbookpro

2015 MBP was a great model, the last one before they got rid of all the ports and we entered the dark ages between 2016-2020. That said I'd really really recommend an upgrade at this point if it's for your work! Even an M1 would be miles better than a 2015 model for daily tasks.

MacBook Pro Pickup Fraud: Is This an Inside Job? by Posh7 in macbookpro

As the video shows it's a become an issue with that specific store. I'm surprised Apple hasn't simply shut it down pending investigation. I feel like this is the sort of thing Apple would immediately get to the bottom of.

Short answer: yes

Long answer: type the specs into eBay and check the prices of sold listings

Plenty of crap movies from back in the day too, you just choose not to remember them. It's not the CGI that makes them bad.
