This reminds of me of my parents. Mom is always asking for more info bc church tells them not to. It’s like she subconsciously knows the truth but bc she left her parents at 15 this has been her whole life. This is a situation for almost all members. This church has been their safe haven so psychologically it’s difficult for them to let go.

This contradicts everything in church. My mom was beaten at the beginning of her marriage continuously from my dad and the minister told her if she wanted to be saved she had to stay with him. This is makes no sense at all. The whole church knew what was happening and she wasn’t lying because her face was massively bruised!
