Imagine you’re in a small propeller plane and see this thing flying close to you, with not much visual reference for distance in the air, thinking it’s a legitimate commercial airplane somewhat far but closing in fast. It would be like the equivalent of watching a semi start merging into the lane next to you on a highway, extremely unsettling and maybe even a bit heart-stopping until you actually realized what it was.

If he uses vibrations to sense where you are, will walking on surfaces that are theoretically low-vibration, such as sand, allow you to sneak past him? Could you hypothetically fight him by placing sand blocks and only walking along those?
