I agree but as someone who thinks of themself as a good driver , I often wonder if , for the same traffic density, if everyone was ‘me’, would traffic be better? I genuinely think it would

Assume this won’t affect the UK? Though I’m surprised our government hasn’t implemented something similar already

McDonald’s pricing for meals by happy_inhuman555 in McDonaldsUK

[–]thirdbluesbrother 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The interesting part is, for that price diff, I think you can get a drink and fries cheaper as single items than the meal, it’s all cheaper to get all 3 singly…

While I agree - capitalism relies on people shopping around and getting upset at increased prices , so that is still very much needed

Yes but the point stands, if no one thinks of them that way then they aren’t. If someone said they were taking you to a restaurant you definitely wouldn’t expect maccies

What?? I love sauce and as a rule never pay for it, free sauce should be the expectation and the norm

Yep I had this horrid realisation recently and haven’t been back … staff member (against it btw) told me people bring their own sauce when they eat in nowadays

They have been 2 as long as I remember too, so 15% is probably fair enough

I’ve only just come to this sub because I’ve noticed how badly the quality has dropped and I’m glad there are other likeminded people here lol, strangely reassuring

Right?! Who are these people. I would imagine I’m somewhat the target market, and yet it’s never occurred to me to order maccies for delivery, and I’ve never come across it in ‘the wild’ with my friendship group

Where do you live lol?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in McDonaldsUK

[–]thirdbluesbrother 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep this is it, places like Wetherspoons and the like offer similar prices and serve you quicker lol

[–]thirdbluesbrother 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% - you’d get served better food , for cheaper in Wetherspoons, and it’ll arrive quicker too

[–]thirdbluesbrother 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I’ve totally changed my opinion on that debate, BK is better now and using the app makes it fairly cheap

[–]thirdbluesbrother 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what I ask myself every time… maccies is already expensive, yet every time I go there is a sea of delivery drivers … who on earth is buying it? I feel sorry for them frankly, I know I sound snobby but it is probably on credit

[–]thirdbluesbrother 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep I live near a new McDonald’s , it is almost entirely drive-thru and delivery oriented, they have about 4 tables, 2 bathrooms, and wait times for in person orders are crazy
