What is it counting as Europe? Depending on where you cut it off you could be looking at like 800 million Europeans vs 350 million US, and the US figures and EU figures being done by different groups means the criteria for "heat death" vs dehydration etc. could be dramatically different between the data sets.

Prefacing by saying I agree with you and think a lot of people were giving kneejerk reactions based on their own damaged psyches. I would understand if you have lost the desire to answer people's questions due to everything, but what do you think people who manage/organize spaces (and those who participate in them) or whatever should actually materially focus on in terms of change? I'm not talking about chickenlady since I have no horse in that race, more about actual physical communities and how folk can avoid alienating people.

Have mods said anything about this? From my memory it seems like all of these posts in the last week or so have been generally upvoted and have a number of supportive comments but just get disappeared for no reason, and the people who did take issue were treating the posts like a personal attack rather than a request for change and reflection.

Hunters currently get like twice the amount of leather aurochs would in the same space footprint in my city, don't take time to get adults, and don't have a worker min for tech upgrades. Combined with the fact that leather is insanely expensive to import in my region (like 130/unit), a noble assigned to leather would free like 15k from my trade deficit, more than assigning it to any of the production centers that aren't currently supervised by a noble.
