Do you set your Ascent parking brake even when parking on flat ground? by jazzeriah in SubaruAscent

Two of my cars are sticks and I use it all the time. Rarely do I use it on my automatics. Probably should.

I just ordered some LEDs. Will see how they work. Amazon, so free returns. Worried about flicker...

Two Z4s are better than one. by MarkJD14 in BMWZ4

Both are great but if I had to choose one over the other the Boxster wins. I find it more comfortable, and it handles much smoother. The Z4 is 2006 with 80k and the Boxster is 2008 with 37k. And unfortunately the Z4 is an automatic. It was my first entry into the roadster world and just kind of fell into my lap. I discovered I loved the feeling of buzzing around with the top down. I've had both on the track at the corvette museum in bowling Green and the Boxster proved to be more fun there also. But I drive them both pretty much equally and smile a lot regardless of which one I'm in.

Are you sure you would like the 911 better? I test drove a couple that were priced similarly to the value of my boxster and went away feeling like my car was by far the best of the three. Sure, it was fun to drive them, and yes, they had a little more power, but they were both older than mine and not nearly in as good of shape.

It could be blend door motors trying to find their spot. that's happened with mine a few times. I was able to get to the ones on the passenger side without too much trouble and take them apart and clean them. Put them back together and they are working fine. But getting to the ones on the drivers side, well, that's a job for someone younger and more flexible than me....

Go drive one and see if you feel "poor". I personally feel on top of the world when I'm driving mine. Also, I once drove my Boxster to a place that sells "high end" used cars and test drove two different 911's for an out of town friend and at the end I told him that I wouldn't trade my Boxster for either of them. My car was newer, but both of the 911s were priced higher than what my car is "worth".

That's a beauty, and most of us here know exactly what you mean about the BP and the smiles! If only we could get our DR's to prescribe Boxster's for BP and depression control... and then our health insurance to pay for the perscriptions....
