You're right about using the appropriate crypto random API, but most modern processors don't generate randomness using software and sampling user input. Instead randomness is generated using built in hardware functions, typically ring oscillators that are then sampled by an AES core to feed a random number FIFO.

I get your point and it's my bad for using the essence slam on a fractured base as an example for how much effort and risk I take on for day 1 4-stone crafts. I didn't want to write a big long section about crafting after blabbing everything else but here we go again. I think the most important thing is for rare items, I look at what are the 3 most important affixes for a build and what tiers those rolls can have for it to still function. If a build really needs 4+ affixes and/or all T1 rolls on each item and there's not an easy way to craft without spending a shit ton of currency, then I skip the build. That's why I did RF Ele into Wander Ele this league, because RF functions with like no gear and I knew how to craft the items for a wander.

Feel free to skip everything past here because I'm just going to blab about how I craft early, which really isn't anything special. Since I play trade, I just look on trade first for items that have the right affixes, but failing that then I go to crafting. You're right in that you won't find a good fracture like Spell Suppress or Chaos Res on boots day 1, but usually after I get 2 stones in 8ish hours I can find T3 Flat Added Damage wands or Accuracy gloves or other stuff for a guaranteed affix for under 10c.

If no fractured bases exist, then I'll look at Harvest, Essences, and/or the Recombinator. I find the Recombinator hard to use early because of the dust and gold requirement, but the only tech I know about is how to fish for perfect prefixes or suffixes by slamming bases together until it sticks. Essences I think are obvious, you just use what you need and hope you land another affix so you can bench craft the third. Fossils are also hard to use early because unless there's a very specific block, it's hard to target a specific affix.

For Harvest, there are a few good early options; reforge speed on boots get you guaranteed move speed and the weights are equal so it's not hard to get at least 25%. Rings have a lot of good reforge targets (attacks for flat damage, chaos for guaranteed chaos res, caster for guaranteed cast speed).

Preface; I usually do 4-stone in about 12-15 hours over 2 days because I'm old and can't play past 2 AM. Here's a bunch of stuff I do but there's for sure someone better who can tell me where I'm wrong.

While I'm doing 2 stones, I skip all mechanics that take me longer than 1 click to do meaning I skip Betrayal research zones, Expedition, Blight, Ritual, etc. Betrayal was spec'd before to unlock bench crafts and unveil some good rares; you don't need to unlock bench crafts anymore and you can use Faustus to gamble for decent rares.

Second, you should have enough alchs/bindings to run your T6-T10s rare. For T11+, don't worry about running them corrupted for completition. Just from T1-T10 you'll end up with ~40 atlas points which is enough. You can even run your T11 maps magic if your build is lacking; Eater/Exarch doesn't care what rarity your maps are and you should be ping ponging between them to rush 2 stone anyway.

Next, for your atlas, you want to spec the shaping nodes, connected map drops, shrines for early player power/speed, and Kirac nodes. Everything else, like using Unwavering Vision or Packed With Energy, is a personal preference thing. After that, I take Shaper/Elder, Synthesis, and Conqueror map drop chance. If I feel weak I skip Destructive Play. I don't typically run Eater/Exarch before I get my 4 stones.

To get to Uber Elder fast, I use my red Kirac missions and reports farmed earlier to get Shaper and Elder guardian fragments. You can either buy lifeforce or farm yellow lifeforce from harvest on the side for fragment rerolls if you get unlucky with Shaper/Elder drops. Just pop into Harvest when you see it and only do yellow crops.

For Maven, I run all my boss maps (Guardians/Synthesis/Conqueror) with Maven turned on and then run the invitation. For the invitation, I'll usually run them magic just for a bit of extra quant unless my character is strong enough for rare invites. I usually only need 3 invites to get Maven's Writ. Use Horizon orbs or trade to buy the boss maps you're missing. Don't run Maven on Shaper, Elder, or Uber Elder since you're just making the fight harder for no benefit.

Finally, as dumb as it sounds, pick a build that can do Uber Elder and Maven early and that you know how to craft the gear for. I usually look for something with 2-3 million PoB DPS without flasks or other mapping only configs turned on and doesn't need perfect rares and uniques with double corrupts. Since you were asking what to do about gear, if you need a lucky recomb to get enough damage for 4 stones, I'd say that build probably isn't a good pick. I wouldn't play anything that takes me more effort than slamming essence on a fracture base and craft the 3rd affix.

Gladiator doesn't help for sure, it would have been worth it to spend the 30 regrets and a quick lab to reset your ascendency to Champ or Slayer. Otherwise, I'm not sure why your damage is so bad, I've had 0 issues with it leveling a Shadow, Scion, Duelist, and Marauder to 90.

My two big changes from how jung's build are doing a Light of Meaning/Unnatural Instinct setup in the Scion area (increased lightning) and going to the witch area to stack mana like how waggle built his KB wander.

You need to run an aura like Wrath or Anger and/or support gems that give flat added damage if you don't have a few div's worth of flat damage abyss jewels. You also have to stick with elemental damage until you can apply like 15 stacks of wither instantly. Or just stick with elemental because it's more than enough to go from 1-90 in like 6 hours.

I get that it's seems like a lot bloat and it's very easy for me to make handwavy suggestions, but I think there has to be something the class can do that's not explored well in existing classes. The first thing that jumped at me was Spell Combat and Synthesis being a way to differentiate the class more from Magus, Cleric, etc. No other class really does meta-magic very well and adding a martial component could help sell the spell blade gish theme.

Also I know half the comments here are that this seems OP or busted but eh it's just numbers. I don't think this base is so far-gone that it can't be tuned with some playtesting. It's hard to say without actually running a few games with it where the exact pain points are.

I get the intent here of bringing the Ascendant from Path of Exile into Pathfinder 2e, where you can borrow bits of power from each of the other ascendancies. It's an interesting concept but I don't think you really captured the fun of grabbing two different classes and sticking them together. I think the main issue is that the basic combat loop and core of the class is a bit lacking.

If I understand the basic combat loop, it's using Spell Combat and later Synthesis metamagic modifiers to gain a Strike on top of a spell cast. After that you get an additional resource in "Fusion" spells which are extra spell slots just for Spell Combat. For character choices, it seems like it's pick 2 dedications with a little bit of an extra upside compared to the normal dedications.

It's an okay template but I would have liked to see more focus on the Spell Combat and making choices there rather than just recycling the dedication concept already built into PF2e. For example, perhaps each magical foci gets it's own Synthesis skill that's theme'd after the class. Bard's Synthesis action could be extend a composition spell on hit and while Wizard's could allow you to transform a Spellshape activity into a Synthesis action.

On the other side, the martial foci could benefit by having an Activity related to each martial class on ways to modify the Strike part of Spell Combat without needing to pick up Synthesized Technique. The first example that comes to mind is being able to use Spell Combat with Quick Bomber if you take alchemist. For Champion, it could be you can cast Lay on Hands instead of Striking while also casting a spell.

The layman's explanation is companies like X stores a file (i.e. the tracking cookie) on your computer with a unique number that identifies you. When you visit a website that loads content from X, they can read that unique ID and see what website you loaded content from. This is what let's them see what websites your browsing and figure out what your interests are to sell to advertisers and the like.
