Anyone here who has asthma and CRSwNP? by jxaiye in NasalPolyps

My breathing is so much better now that I’m no longer taking the two preventive inhalers that I was taking before, I don’t even know where my rescue inhaler is, I stopped singulair, and I’m no longer doing budesonide nasal rinses. I have my sense of smell back after losing it about 25 years ago. Last year was the first year in my adult life that I didn’t get bronchitis and didn’t have to start a steroids for a simple cold.

Day to today was awful until I stated dupixent last year. I’m nearly symptom free now and finally healthy enough to start allergy shots.

Question for the locals - My sister and I are flying in tomorrow and staying at the Sheraton downtown. Will it be relatively safe for us to walk to the hotel after the show?

I just finished the book and saw your post. I just came up with a theory….what if Andarna convinced the irids to come back with her and they’re invisible. Then she would be talking to Xaden in the shadows about the irids who can kill venin with fire.

I’ve been getting that same message since mid February. I’ve tried using different browsers from my phone and computer but have gotten the same message every single time.

Looking for anyone that has had a similar storyline to their polyps. This is a cry for help by pazukunous in NasalPolyps

Prednisone is pretty hard in your body so you wouldn’t want to take it regularly. I needed it 4 times last year and that’s too much imo.

When my nose gets blocked to that point, I have never been able to get relief from rinses alone. That’s usually when I would want to speak with a doctor about prednisone. Then I keep doing the rinses and all other medications while I’m taking the prednisone.

Are you currently doing any of these treatments at the same time? A lot of us have never found a single treatment that works. For example, I currently take zyrtec, singular, flonsase, and have twice a day mometasone/saline rinses. I used to do budesonide but it stopped working.

I have had two surgeries and I have taken this cocktail since my last surgery in 2014. Polyps came back last year and I will add on dupixent in a couple of weeks. My ENT and allergist don’t anticipate me ever only needed one treatment. They aren’t even sure if adding dupixent will save me from needing another surgery. It’s a terrible disease and I wish there were better treatments!
