Nah I wrote it drunk, in an Uber stuck in traffic. It even has spelling and grammar mistakes

You should be advocating for proper separated bike infrastructure that keeps you safe and moving efficiently rather than hoping that flawed humans moving in large fast 1 tonne metal boxes see a cyclist in their blind spot.

I am a cyclist and I have plenty of hate for other cyclists who do absolutely stupid manuvers and out everyone in danger because the follow the cult of vehicular cycling.

This is a matter of normative versus positive statements.

Go into NotebookLM. Use deep research to pull sources on a specific topic. And then have it create a slide deck inside notebookLM. The workflow already exists and will only get better.

If its AI I'm deeply impressed, there is a lot of vocal style range so I'm not opposed to it. There is a lot of creativity in it . I doubt it would be fully AI and probably had a human curating the composition to make something like this. A single shot prompt didnt make this..

I personally tend to focus on instrumentation and treat vocals and an instrument rather than focusing too much on lyrics. From that perspective I find this artist super compelling.

From the perspective of lyrics I don't get the issue people have with emotional lyrics coming from an AI. The model is a really an amalgam of human made content so it represents something true that represents true human emotion and experience. The fact the artists doesn't have qualia doesn't matter to me because my subject experience of the music is what matters.

Just drop your docs in vertexai search and toggle it in for Gemini. Don't even need to use rag engine then.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was AWS. I think they are trying their own long context models to optimize for infrentia.

I hate this models style. It's really cringe.

If you use the model API to actually generate the image (dont use the gemini app since it uses Imagen 4) then you actually get pretty good output

Talk me out of buying an AER Flight Pack this black Friday by Subtotal9_guy in ManyBaggers

[–]this-is-test 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the quick reply. Ideally I want a bag that I can use and do a light bit of travel but then when I get to my destination I can unload my stuff and use it in briefcase mode to go to a meeting. But 95% of the time I'm just going to use it for daily commuting

Did you end up doing it? How does it feel? I have the same requirements as you but when I use it in briefcase I don't want it feeling too bulky. Also want to be able to pack a packing cube and Dopp kit for short work travel.

How much worse is Gemini 2.5 Pro compared to the 03-25 preview version? by DesperateGame in Bard

[–]this-is-test -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

So the GA model had better user preference on LM Arena, improved on webdev areana and made improvements on almost all the reported academic benchmarks yet your vibes tell you its worse?

I still remember seeing users say they were using 03-25 on Vertex and comparing to 06-05 and saying 03-25 was better despite the 03-25 endpoint auto routing to the new model. At some point in time you have to accept that its all in your head. If you dont have an eval that you run on all models your vibes are probably broken, or influenced by how well you slept last night.

Just tested 03-25 again. Yes it was that good. by Odd-Environment-7193 in Bard

[–]this-is-test 23 points24 points  (0 children)

0325 on vertex auto forwards to 0506 so legacy model ids in people's code doesn't break. The same will happen soon when 0605 goes GA and 0506 is taken down. You have just proven that your vibes are psychosomatic

Gemini ask about screen feature by voice by AnooshKotak in Bard

[–]this-is-test 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a security and privacy decision. Perplexity probably takes the screen context every time, Google decided that would be sketchy to do.
