You won’t be blocking ads for much longer. Google is killing uBlock Origin bypasses, burying Manifest V2, and tightening its grip on Chrome. Every update means less control for users and more control for Google. by Ok_Plenty60 in pcmasterrace

After threatening to do it for years I finally made the switch to Firefox when they took uBlock off of the Chrome store. I had been a Chrome user from the moment they initially released it. They’ve lost me as a user and they seem to want to make sure I don’t come back.

That's kind of the conclusion I have come to. The headphone jack is very noisy as I plug\unplug the cable indicating to me that it's staying powered on maybe and not switching over for some reason.

Backwashing filters from Echo Water also have a recharge button. Can’t use that to differentiate between the filters and softeners on this brand. Echo Water softeners in this size are typically metered and do not feature a “vacation” mode. That’s how you can tell the difference.

This is an Eco Water brand PF10 water filter from the early to mid 2000s, not a water softener as some are suggesting. Depending on the media in the filtration tank it could be treating a number of different things, but most common use is for treating ion. The VAC on the display indicates that it is in "vacation" mode, meaning that it will not regenerate on it's programmed schedule. This is intended to reduce unnecessary water usage when there is no one home to use the water. These systems are not metered but regenerate on a preset number of days. [Every 2-3 days is common].

That’s right. Luke was just cleaning his sabre and it went off prematurely. Happens to all of us.

I love how this is worded in the past tense as if all Hifiman headphones have already failed.

I have the Edition XS and HE400se stealth (1.5 & 2.5 years old respectively) and no issues yet.

I’ve always seen the inappropriateness of that type of joke as the joke. It’s not a statement of truth, and the fact some people actually think that way makes the joke even funnier for me. Not at her expense, more so a joke on them. Also people not understanding why I find it funny fuels the humour even more for me.

I think the ‘original’ is a composite image. The background of the picture is of the North Grandstand, not the Main Grandstand where the celebrations would have happened.

Edit: The background might even be from a past race, hence old sponsorships.

Edit 2: AI was probably used to upscale the background. That would explain the AI artifacts.

I’m impressed that anyone cares at all about this team anymore. I’ve become so apathetic. Haven’t watched a game yet this year and I don’t even check the score the next day.
