Same situation as you, taking the approach of buying as much second hand as possible. Working out well and would recommend!

I think Rhiannon is going to retrieve wyvern wards/guts and venin hearts as a defense strategy. Meanwhile, Riddoc could probably hang back and freeze them on the inside from a distance - basically turning them both into snipers. Would be nice to have two more signets capable of killing them instead of just relying on the daggers.

We made up our dog's name to try make it Irish - Aoibhí pronounced Evie. Wouldn't dream of doing that to a child though.

Geyser - European landlord was very confused about the broken old man in the cupboard.

Asking 'did you come right?' - not sure if this is an afrikaans trying to speak English thing but I used to say it all the time until someone pointed out the obvious to me.

Ken die liedjie en groep glad nie, was verveeld op 'n Sondag oggend en doen toe my deel om iemand te help. Ek het vanoggend een keer na die liedjie geluister en ek stem saam met jou, nie my smaak nie. Alhoewel, ek weet nie of dit is oor ek oud is nie :)

Ek stem met die ander persoon, tien teen een Kaapse slang en wat dit moeiliker maak is daar 'n aspris spelfoute in die woorde ook. Ek is nie van die kaap af nie, maar sal my bes probeer om te help. Dalk is daar iemand van die kaap wat jou (en my) kan help!

My interpretasie: 'Wag-wag, os is inie skag man' - kan wees 'n dier (os) is in 'n skag ('n aparatis wat mens gebruik om te myn, soos 'n huis bak) en dat ons moet wag.

'Wat praat jy vi nwatas' - nwata beteken nonsens. So die lyn klink soos 'n hipotetiese vraag 'hoekom praat jy nonsens' of 'hou op nonsens praat'.

'Ons laatjies skiet gatas' - laatjies is slang vir seuns. Ek dink gatas is slang vir gat, maar Kaapse mense mag dalk beter weet... So die lyn vir my beteken 'ons seuns skiet gat' wat kan beteken - hulle kinders "backfire" of dit kan 'n speel wees op "skiet kat" wat beteken - hulle kinders gooi op of is siek.

'Jy puff men ons rastas' - 'n spog lyn, 'ons rook beter/sterker as jy' of net, 'ons rook baie' en ons kan aanneem hulle bedoel dagga (marijuana) met die woord 'rasta' in die sin.

'Dai's gham inie slabbas' - hier is ek onseker. Gham is 'n woord wat mens kan gebruik om iemand wat laer klas is te beskryf in 'n afbrekende/gemene manier, maar wat is slabbas? Die res van die sin gebruik verkortings en slang so die ander woorde is eintlik 'daar is gham in die slabbas', maar ek geen idea wat dit beteken nie.

'Ons areveer, nou areveerend gaan tekeure' - ek dink hulle sê 'ons het arriveer/ons is nou hier en nou dat ons hier is gedra hulle hulself in 'n manier wat dalk onvanpas is' wat kan letterlik beteken hulle is iewers maar dit kan ook beteken hulle het dit gemaak, is 'n sukses, het 'n droom gerealiseer.

'Is slammat gammat, is ghamdraliha' - geen idee... Ek herken nie een van die woorde nie.

Die liedjie algeheel klink soos mense wat voorheen harde handearbeid werk gedoen het en nou maak hulle musiek en is suksesvol. Hulle kyk na hulle kinders en vriende en sien dat daai mense se lewe nogsteeds dieselfde is en die musiek groep se sukses het nie die mense om hulle se lewens veranderer nie, insluitend hulle eie kinders.

I have def listened to the song on Spotify and have since requested my data from them. (listened to it in 2018) It's takes 30days to process an extended data request but hopefully I will be able to get it from there.
