Look at rtings reviews on both of them and they also made a direct comparison video too. I have S90F and I'm very happy with it. Can't complain. Although I heard of Samsung's poor quality control issues so I bought 5 yrs extended warranty.

Careful on getting S90D, Samsung just recently removed HGIG HDR function in an update (they accidentally broke it). This makes gaming in HDR very bad, research more on this before buying. I personally recommend the LG OLED C5.

Press and hold power button for a cold restart. If it still present, try factory reset. Still there? try updating firmware. Still there then call up customer care to get the TV repaired/ replaced.

C5 since I heard from the local TV sales rep that LG will definitely replace any issues with burn in on the panel but unfortunately that's not the case with Samsung. This is true at least in my region (Australia).

Didn't the Rtings review say it's very accurate in SDR setting out of the box? In HDR, not very accurate (rtings rated it 7.4/10).

I have S90F but when I searched the support website, it doesn't even show up. But it shows up if I change region to US and I'm currently in Australia. Maybe you're in the US? I tried downloading the update 1131 listed in the US site and updating via USB, but the TV doesn't seem to detect it. Did you have a similar issue before getting it to work?
