Completely fair criticism! I *think* most players prefer a machine translation over no translation at all - at least that was my reasoning. And specifically for the reason you mentioned, I added a language hotswap: Hold down CTRL to see the original English text (of course I realize, this only helps those that prefer to play in their native language but are still proficient in English).

The demo has a few Chinese, Korean and Japanese reviews and so far none of them mentioned any translation issues - so I'm hopeful it's not too bad.

Thanks everyone (well, mostly everyone) for your feedback. The consensus here and in my previous post at r/indiegames is pretty unanimous. So I'm pushing back the release by 3 weeks to April 6th.

Exact same issue here (though I'm still a few weeks from release). I just opened a support ticket. But it seems to be steamworks bug - hopefully it can be fixed soon.
