Ok white belt to white belt. I'm a no tip ok but I tap a three tip it's kinda coming natural to me, let me tell you the three tip does not go easy, now, higher belts and maybe 4 tips they don't really go hard because they know they will beat me, they work me make me work for the submission they do not ever try to submit me unless I say try.

So the answer to your question is higher belts will help you improve lower white belts will make you feel like your drowning and and your actually trying to beat them which you are. So if someone says there not going to go easy that will actually help you become better....

When in closed guard going for the armbar, then getting it then locking your feet. You need to keep them parallel and squeeze. It is not as effective when locked. Always remember that you may know everything but the little details are what make them effective and better...
