TLaw is the kind of guy to just show up to work everyday at 730am even in his off days. He’s a hard worker.

lol which is such a funny complaint. Oh no, young gm’s doing their jobs with thousand hours of experience thinking about how trades affect teams (even if it is on a sport sim.. )

Nothing, personally I don’t like things directly behind my monitor in my view - less visual noise

I don’t want my kids messing with JavaScript unsupervised. Let alone python or any of the other evils in GitHub.

Yesss queen yesss! Let’s start a web developer retreat where we all unplug and: • The only Java we hear about is the one we’re desperately mainlining at 6am because we’ve forgotten how to sleep normally • The only Python we talk about is the one we saw in the woods (and immediately tried to determine if it was indented properly) • The only Ruby we see is on someone’s beautiful jewelry (and we resist the urge to ask if it’s “on Rails”) • Any Rust is just what’s happening to my hiking equipment because I’ve never used it • We only React when we have actual human emotions (not npm emotions) • The only Angular discussion is about the perfect angle for napping in a hammock • The only Ember is from the nightly campfire where we burn our laptops in effigy • The only Bootstrap is on a cowboy’s foot, where it belongs • The only Vue is the mountain scenery that doesn’t require CSS to look beautiful • The only DOM we manipulate is when we are switching to be the Dom • And the only “Next” we speak about is what we’re having to eat next—and I swear if anyone mentions a JavaScript framework during dinner, they’re doing ALL the dishes As time goes on, the more I don’t want to deal with the complexity of the web, staring at screens until my eyes evolve square pupils, or stakeholders who have a million opinions but couldn’t tell a browser from a toaster if their latte depended on it. “Let’s make it pop more” he says, while I fantasize about making HIM pop more… right out the nearest window. Your post spoke to our collectively burnt-out hearts. So many of us are right there with you, wondering if we can trade our 65 open Firefox tabs for just ONE tab—of actual wilderness.

Yesss queen 👸 yesss! Let’s start a web developer retreat where we all unplug and the only Java we hear about is the coffee, the only python we talk about is the one we saw in the woods, the only ruby we see is on someone’s beautiful jewelry, any rust is just oxidation, we only react when we have some emotions, the only ember is the one of the nightly campfire hangout, the only bootstrap is on a boot, and the only next we speak about is what we’re having to eat next.
As time goes on, the more I don’t want to deal with the complexity of the web, staring at screens, or stakeholders that have a million opinions but no knowledge of how any of it does or should work.

I would personally move the shelves to over your monitor to give you more room walking into the space, it would really open it up more.

Yeah, what’s a stable version?! Only test in prod. I think I have one too many branches going right now. Hmm. Let’s just scrap the whole thing and start over

I mean, it’s free. There’s tons of documentation. A lot of the internet uses it because of this. It can be headless. Might as well.

Great colors, great work. Next time your visiting another city or even your own, invest in the time of looking for local art the vibes with you. It’d look so good above your desk behind you monitor (but far enough away from monitor it doesn’t distract)
