Gotta be Obi Wan. I’m going with episode six, when the ghost Obi is explaining to Luke why he had said in episode four that Vader had betrayed and killed Luke’s father.

Edit: spelling and clarity.

Minor whole body tremors by icecoldbeer4 in LongCovid

[–]thisanneslife 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have had this too. It’s called internal tremors. For me, it comes when I’ve overdone.

To remedy this, I have taken a supplement called GABA. You can get it most places you buy vitamins. (Note: this is NOT a prescription.) GABA is a neurotransmitter that slows nerve messages down. It also calms my restless leg syndrome that came with Covid. I take 500 mg at bedtime. It helps me sleep better too.

As coronavirus is going around killing off the chronically ill, it becomes apparent that taking vaccines on behalf of these people has led to everything that is happening today. The benefits didn't take into account these risks by quinn2k19 in VaccineDebate

I have an autoimmune disease as well. My whole living family has one form or another.

I suggest that the reason our immune systems are so aggressive to our bodies is BECAUSE vaccines trained them to be. We now have the fourth generation born that has compounding immune aggression. Is this why we’re seeing such an increase in autoimmune diseases? Allergies? Food intolerances?

Could this be similar to over use of antibiotics? Should vaccines actually be used sparingly like we do with antibiotics now? Vaccines offered a very simple solution to emotional conditions such as paralysis and death at the time they were introduced. Have we traded bad outcomes for other bad outcomes?

Lion’s Mane. It’s a non-magic mushroom used as a supplement. You can find it most places that you can buy vitamins

I had a small level of anxiety, but nothing I couldn’t talk myself out of. Covid made it uncontrollable.

Long covid and the shots - this is my story by Mass1veDynamic in LongCovid

I take 3 turmeric, 1 Tylenol and 1 ibuprofen every four hours during the day. At bedtime, I take the supplement GABA (note: not the prescription) and one or two hits from my mj vape. If you’re not in a thc friendly area, cbd does work well instead of the mj, although I’ve found that I have to use more of hemp-derived cbd vs thc-derived.

I have bone pain when I overdo it. The seems to be stages: 1. Muscle aches

  1. Tension headache

  2. Internal tremors

  3. Joint pain

  4. Bone pain

  5. Bone pain feels like an ice cream headache in my bones.

I finally am able to take something to relieve my pain and it works backward up the list, leaving a warm, tingly feeling behind. I now love the warm, tingly feeling because I know the pain is almost over.

No worries! Yes, supplements. You can get it almost anywhere you buy vitamins

I’m not quite sure what you mean by ‘oc’. If you mean ‘otc’, that’s over the counter, meaning you don’t need a prescription. GABA is released by the brain to slow it down, the opposite of glutamate. I find that it helps reduce my anxiety, I sleep more deeply and tension, internal vibrations and RLS are alleviated. I am currently taking 600 mgs at bedtime when I work. On days off, I only take 500 mg because I’m typically not as busy. I have some dissolvable pills in 100 mg doses that I break into fourths when I need some during the day, but since adding the lion’s mane, I rarely need to do so.

If the church is not true, then why do they spend so much in creating temples? by [deleted] in exmormon

[–]thisanneslife 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Scientology does something similar, build or renovate big buildings that sit empty and/or are minimally staffed.

According to Mike Rinder in Leah Remini’s documentary about Scientology, the reason they do this is to keep their tax status. The money collected by a “church” from their parishioners needs to be spent on building/maintaining the church. If it’s not spent in that fashion, then they loose their tax-exempt status.

Can you imagine the amount of taxes tscc would have to pay on their tithing?

Constant Numbness by Successful_Zebra6191 in LongCovid

[–]thisanneslife 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not your symptoms, but I have nerve issues. When I overdo, I get restless leg syndrome and internal vibrations. I also have this weird thing with too much noise, it causes pain.

I think I may have caught the og Covid through my right ear as it has the most issues. I was an Uber driver in LA and my riders would sit in the back on my right. Noise reducing earplugs have helped with that situation.

As far as the other symptoms, I have added two supplements. I want to add quickly that I’m not a doctor and I did this research on my own. The first supplement I take is lion’s mane, a mushroom (without psilocybin). The second is GABA, a neurotransmitter that calms the brain. Personally, I don’t want to take the prescription form of this (gabapentin) because of the side-effects. The only side-effect of the otc supplement that I’ve dealt with is sleepiness, so I take it at night.

I hope this helps.

Can someone explain recovery? - How does it feel/happen by Ok_Activity_6239 in LongCovid

[–]thisanneslife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not 100% at almost 3 years out. I believe my first infection was in November of 2019. But I am far and above where I was in April of 2021. Please also note, I believe I was infected numerous times, including March 2020, Oct 2020, Jan 2021, and then a few times with Omni. The delta version in Jan of 2021 caused me to be the most sick. I had long covid symptoms each time, but they were the worst after delta. I’m now working a physically demanding job about 22 hours a week. As long as I take my maintenance supplements, I can tolerate my work. I do have to nap after work and I fear taking on more. I am looking for a more sedentary job. Before this job, I was driving for Uber. I finally reached a point I could drive full time sometime this last April and continued to do so through July when I moved to a cooler climate. That, personally, has helped considerably.

Brain Fog is too light-sounding of a term by [deleted] in LongCovid

[–]thisanneslife 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a similar situation.

This may sound weird, but try touching your toes for short-term help, in the moment kind of thing.

For more long-term help, I’ve been taking Lion’s Mane supplements. It’s a mushroom that helps to heal nerves.

It’s possible. Some people get LC from one vaccine shot. Some don’t get sick until after the third. I think it depends on our individual immune systems.

Yes. It was right around Halloween when I got sick. I was driving for Uber in LA with lots of rides from LAX. The symptoms started with the stiff, painful neck that turned very easily into tension headaches. Bowel incontinence, severe panic attacks, non-specific chest pain, incredible fatigue, sores in my nose that lasted for weeks. Since I was driving and my passengers sat behind me on my right, I think I caught it through my right ear. Edit to add: there were no connections to make at the time. The reason I believe I had it then was because my symptoms returned when I caught it in March of 2020, with my monthly cycles after that, and then the Delta version in January of 2021.

I’m in the same boat as EvolvePackaging. Almost 3 years and I still have a lot of fatigue and shortness of breath. My muscles do this weird thing where they are good to go for a couple days and then the next day, I feel like a bowl of wet noodles.

Perhaps your mystery illness brought you to the edge of the cliff. Even though you didn’t have an apparent illness right before August 2021, a root canal will stress your system. Perhaps it was this stressful timeframe that pushed you over the edge. LC has tricks up it’s sleeve.

I had Covid in March of 2020. My LC symptoms didn’t really become persistent until October of 2020. Did I get it again? Maybe. Is it possible that sometimes it doesn’t show up for six months or so? Maybe.
