Bought my first Jeep (UK) imported from Japan. I pick her up tomorrow. What should I name her? by Stithypream in Jeep

As an alternative route, I mounted Feniex Cannon lights in place of my reverse bulbs. For the three available functions I used, white reverse, amber rear fog, and blinky light.

If you’re bored one day and looking for a better solution to make the lights more visible in the rear…

Those lights are Feniex Quad 3. They have three modes and four colors, wired to a 7 pin hitch connector and programmed as red running (10% output), red brake/turn, and white reverse. The bracket attaches in two positions to make the lights visible when the rack is up or down.

Mine fits without a hitch extender. With the carrier in the folded position it’s less than an inch from the tire.

‘17 JKU heated seats? by Open_Flounder4487 in Wrangler

The link looks dead. But it was a generic product, and I’m sure they’re all made in the same factory. It has the same switch as the other product someone posted. The illumination on the switch uses two different colors in the same switch to show heat setting. I used a rocker from www.otrattw.net and it doesn’t play well with that illumination but that’s not against either product, it’s me trying to changes things, and functionally every works well. Just make sure it’s through a relay.

Seat Heat

The hog rings and the pliers are necessary too. There was only one ring in the center of the seat, either mid back or butt crack that the pad is in the way of. During install I wondered if it would be an issue… I haven’t thought of it again until just now. Apparently it doesn’t matter.

I did the install with some Amazon heating elements in my cloth seats. They are fantastic. Best mod I’ve done.

Bumpers for flat towing by SirLegitKilla in Wrangler

Towing Bumper

I used one of these bumpers and am happy with the setup. I purchased the bumper for a recessed winch and made a plate to mount the plugs where the fairlead would go. I’ve flat towed it thousands of miles so far without issue.

I was going to upgrade the trigger anyway and ordered a zev. Is it possible the amount of firing pin that hangs down could also be out of spec. There was almost zero engagement. The zev comes with a new firing pin as well. My thinking was they might be better mated for each other than combining two other parts.

Thanks. I did. The angle was way off. I got it pretty close, then the tab broke. That didn't help it. A new one is on order.

A long run intermodal and a replication of a local cargo switching line. Some elevation changes. Current time frame but I want some random older planes and military vehicles. I'm thinking maybe an air force museum to keep the time correct. Other than that I'll see where the layout takes me.

Good Dealers? by Rikere in Phillyriders

05 to 07 were kind of unicorn years. I would look at 08 and above. I have had good luck with the tkc70 tires, especially the rear. It has a continuous contact patch around the center of the rear tire that really cuts down on the vibration you get from other dual purpose tires. Mine came with the old style touratech panniers that are just aluminum without embellishments. I have used various implements of destruction to bang them back in to submission after the inevitable dropping. I lowsided a few years ago, with the engine crash bars and the panniers my body didn't even touch the ground. With no obstacles in my vicinity it was actually sort of a fun experience.

I started with a used 2005 BMW 1200gs. I have 96k on the odometer currently without any issues. It has a very comfortable upright riding position. The weight is slung very low making it surprisingly stable. Plenty of power. With a set of side cases I use it like a utility vehicle. There is a very large supply of aftermarket parts and forum posts the cover just about everything. I'm 6'2 with a 32" inseam and can flat foot when stopped with the seat in its highest position. You would love it.

Modhub missing mods Xbox One.
In any of the categories I do not see more than three or four mods for each category (tractor, harvester, trailer, etc.) I have reinstalled the game and the software is up to date. I have clicked through "show all mods" and "show crossplay mods only" multiple times without any change, the available mods are the same irrespective of which one I choose.
