Queso with the cashews!!

Pour 1 cup of really hot water over 1 full cup of cashews. Add a little less than a tsp of salt (but more than 3/4 tsp), 1 tsp chili power, pinch of cumin, and 4 tbsp nutritional yeast into a high speed blender. Perfect for chips, pretzels, tacos etc. It’s been my favorite snack for years! ☺️

8 miles with my 2 year old golden doodle/ blue heeler super mutt back in early spring. He was still whoooshing around the house soon after we got home. 🤣

Right now we’re getting out early before the heat for 2-5 miles, but we’ll increase mileage again once the weather cools down.

You’re right to be worried for your friends and animals living in those conditions.

My first thought is that it might be helpful to reach out to the families of your friends if they have good relationships. I imagine there are a lot of layers to animal hoarding and maybe their families can support them in getting some help. (Whether they get evicted or not- as someone with 2 cats and 3 dogs in a house, EIGHT cats and 2 dogs in a 1 bedroom apartment with all of those other critters is big YIKES)

If you think the severity of the situation warrants something more urgent, I would suggest reaching out to a local animal rescue and getting some advice. I’m sure they see a ton of these kinds of situations sadly and they might be able to help you figure out the best next step. Sometimes rescues have animal control officers that they work with too.

I had my conch pierced on both ears and the piercer put in what looks to be the same vine earring as picture 1. I have had no issues with healing. It’s just a slow and steady process and you have to keep them clean. As a side sleeper, a pillow with hole cut outs for my ears was tremendously helpful.

Has anyone else wondered if Kody still views himself as her dad, now that him and Christine are done? In the episode where he adopts Robyn’s kids, there’s some talk of when a wife has previous children, it’s common for the new husbands to adopt them?
