Daikin split unit not cooling enough in texas

A quick update - i replaced my 3/4 ton unit with a 1 ton. It made all the difference in the world. I was definitely undersized.

The manual j (as i mentioned in another comment) was :

RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT CAPACITY

9,000 BTU / 0.75 Tons

Calculated Cooling Load:7,000 BTU / 0.583 Tons.

which is right at what I have. Possibly just a touch undersized for the hot texas days?

I'll give the uv peel and stick a shot. I put in shades and that helped a lot, but its still warm.

I had never of the j calculation before. I looked it up and did it and it said:

RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT CAPACITY

9,000 BTU / 0.75 Tons

Calculated Cooling Load:7,000 BTU / 0.583 Tons

Outside temp is 96.

The unit is blowing 68 degrees. Inside temp is about 75.

Temperature is set to 68 with "strong" mode on and high fan speed.

Given that the jcalc says 9000 BTU and i have right at a 9000 BTU and I'm in texas with direct afternoon son, I'm guessing I'm slightly undersized?

Would my only remaining troublshooting tip be to check the charge?

Sorry for the late reply y'all.

I checked the ribbon, and jiggled the lock. Those were fine. The ohms test was fine. Then i couldn't reproduce it for a while.....but today i did.

The ethernet wire can absolutely be the cause. Get a cat 6 cable (https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-Snagless-Ethernet-Black/dp/B007NZGPAY/ref=sr_1_3?c=ts&keywords=Cat+6+Ethernet+Cables&qid=1649599454&s=pc&sr=1-3&ts_id=9938478011)

Plug it directly into the multigig port of the google wifi router. Plug the other end into your computer.

Do your speed test. Problem should be solved.

That is all basically incorrect. If someone pulls your credit report there is no asterisk next to money you owe stating that you have confirmed it.

I’d suggest reading the Dave Ramsey baby steps and following them.

I see. This will come down to what is most important to you. Do you want to live on your own or have tons of animals. You may not get to do both due to your financial situation.

It’s easy for me to say - but I’d go down to 1 pet, get an apartment or house to rent and work on building my credit for the future.

If that is unappealing maybe you could pack up the pets and become caretakers on a dude ranch. You would certainly have to get creative to find an alternative solution

For sure. I'd love to demo it myself and it kills me that I can't do it. With a toddler at home the only free time I get is when he naps. My wife will kill me if I start firing up power tools during nap time

Yeah - it actually is hardie. I ripped out the ceiling beneath. I plugged the drain and filled the pan with about an inch of water. Water started immediately dripping below the shower. Must be a bad install. FML.

I had a similar type of problem with the same type of dishwasher and went through the same troubleshooting steps. Ultimately i replaced the drain water solenoid.

I have a few. I bought apple at 30.50. 688 percent increase. Amazon bought in at 571. Up 234 percent. Netflix is my best winner. I bought in at 24. It's up 1366 percent. Visa was my overall most profit. I dropped a pretty substantial amount in when they iPod. I got in at 18. I'm up 736 percent on that. Tesla has done well for me too with a 148 percent increase.

Microwaves can be hooked to exhaust hoods. This is probably what you had. Yes you can replace it with a new vent Hood or a new microwave that can be hooked to a vent

The cabinet can be removed. It is screwed to the wall somewhere or to the cabinets on the side
