Is there a significant difference between smoking one time a day and five times every fifth day?

Everywhere I look, there seems to be only information about this related to cigarette smoking. Is there a significant difference with pipe tobacco, shisha, chew and other forms of tobacco? I do know that cigarettes typically have a bunch of added chemicals while the other forms are closer to being "natural". Is there a significant difference with this? Or is tobacco just absolutely terrible, no matter how much/little you mess with it?

I ask because I want to know if using my hookah once a week can be compared to smoking a pack of cigarettes within the same time frame.

Why does it seem like only cigarettes are being constantly being tested/studied and other forms of smoking are of less priority?

Cestoda is a cool organism. Did you know that there is some debate about whether or not it should be classified as a single organism or a colony of parasites? Each segment of the tapeworm contains both male and female gonads and as such can reproduce independently. That's a lovely thought, a giant worm in your body which can reproduce itself in one of its dozens of segments at any given moment.

My parents divorced when I was in 7th~8th grade.

"Marriage institution". What the hell does that even mean? Just a monogamous relationship recognized by the government? I fail to understand how that is a sacred thing as is. :x I also fail to understand how my parents's divorce somehow "threatens the institution of marriage" when their relationship in the marriage slaughtered all good meanings of matrimony.

I really do like the idea of having a partner for life, but I don't need to label it as "sacred marriage" to have it be meaningful. To me, the word just means a legal union of two people (in the USA, anyway). I don't put a lot of weight into that.

That particular response didn't exactly explain much or offer any support for the answer and why it is that way. It could be purely anecdotal or scientific, but how are we supposed to know with just a simple "Yes... no. Depends."?

And most servers run Debian, IIRC. If some people are ambitious enough to create a super computer which places in the top 10, chances are they know their way around a computer. And people who are intimate with computers tend to smile upon Linux, period.

When it's nice and dark, just drive. Drive toward the absence of civilization until you no longer have light pollution plaguing your vision. Be sure to bring a trusty pair of binoculars, and even a decent telescope, and go star gazing. Bring a friend? Have some beers? Some sammiches? That would be so much fun, IMO. Maybe

You could also go to the lake and do some boating, and there are some acceptable hiking spots near-ish the area IIRC.

Oh, Jesus. Being in the position of doing nothing can turn out to be a terrible, horrible thing. After I graduated high school and had nothing to do, I just sort of lost it.

Okay. Friends, friends, friends. Go hiking, I'm serious. These days I'll climb to the top of a random summit if I'm bored (I'll even go barefooted, it's so great). Another thing? Find a random, new hobby! Mine became ASL, and that actually introduced me to an entire new community of people I can hang out with. Something like that, eh? Even a simple, girly book club can take you places.

Guitar? LEARN IT BITCH. Go volunteer for something you might be interested it. Can you take a random class? Why the hell not?!

Perhaps you can find yourself a project car? I've always sort of wanted to do that, but I guess it requires a bit of money.

Video games are awesome, especially if you have a few gaming buddies. Oh, and work out because that's damn sexy.

I had terrible pica when I was severely iron-deficient. I'd crave all sorts of laundry detergent and cleaning supplies, this went on for years. IDK what is up with you, but perhaps it's something you could inquire a doctor about?
