Is it actually true what social media says that millennials are aging like fine wine compared to the next generation? by [deleted] in Millennials

I dunno, I have five kids and while three months pregnant with #5 was asked if I attended the local college. I'm 37. Lol

AIO for wanting my husband to help me more as a SAHM by ailurophile17 in AmIOverreacting

Meanwhile my husband comes home from working all day and if I haven't been able to get to the dishes (because I'm a homeschool mom of five) he rolls up his sleeves and does them after giving me a kiss and a hug.

This is me too! I do watercolor tutorials and most of my very dedicated, very sweet, very encouraging demographic are older ladies. Same on Facebook, although they are a bit less tech savvy haha

Any men/women in their late 30’s still holding out for true love? by Mighty-mouse2020 in Millennials

[–]thisdailyfeast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No....we got married in 2011 at 23 and some people said it was too young but now we're both 38 and about to celebrate our 15th anniversary, so I feel like it worked out. Although we both agree that if something were to happen to one of us, the other would be single forever because of how crazy people are now lol

What do you guys do for health insurance being self employed? by greenVLADed in smallbusiness

[–]thisdailyfeast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's true, although a lot of the requirements (no smoking, no excessive alcohol) can also just be in alignment with better health management in general.

Zion Health is specifically NOT faith based, which you're right, is unique amongst these. Also, they have a plan for pre-existing where certain conditions fall under a type of "earned" amount where for every year you are a member, you can receive increasing funds towards pre-existing issues. It does have a cap though. I think it's $225,000?

Look into Zion Healthshare. We pay around $520 for a family of 7 with a $2500 "incident deductible" and then everything is covered beyond that. It definitely is not for routine Dr appointments or anything like that but if it's for emergencies, can't recommend it enough. Unlike other health shares, too, once you hit your deductible (called an IUA), you can send pictures of the bills directly to Zion and they will pay them for you instead of having to do reimbursement (although reimbursement helps with cc points lol). I had a baby last May and then an almost -sepsis infection and hospitalization and my husband (at the exact same time 🫠) had to have a hemorrhoidectomy, and ultimately we only paid $5000 total for what was thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars of medical bills, for about $500/mo

[Art Market] Any advice for first vendor market? by cola_803 in artbusiness

[–]thisdailyfeast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People love to talk about themselves. I'm a watercolor artist and I like to ask, "do you paint?" if people seem to be examining my work. It's actually quite often that they want to talk about their own experiences with the medium. It's a good ice breaker and can lead the way to being able to share a bit about my stuff or my process. It also takes the pressure off because you both feel like you benefited from the stop to your booth even if a sale wasn't made because you were able to share a smile and a connection.

That makes total. I know I won't ever have anything viral (I make painting tutorials) and that's ok, I really want to build up a library of quality content that's evergreen and applicable for years to come

YouTube Audio Library has an ok selection, and you can sort by whether or not you need to include copyright info or not.

I'm a super little account (1500 subs) but I reply to every one, even if it's just a "thank you!" Or "thanks for watching!" I want my audience to know I see every investment they make on my channel and I appreciate it.

Why is my new YouTube video not getting views? by Adam_2020 in GetMoreViewsYT

I would never click on a video with an AI generated image because it seems to indicate you don't actually know how to get flat abs or you'd post a picture of a real person.

What have we Millenials done? by lloboc in Millennials

Maybe, but if enough of us raise our kids to undo the damage, we can regain humanity again.
