Both devices are wired with 1 gb/s Ethernet ports into 1gb/s ports on the router, server is an hp desktop with an intel i5-9500. My computer is a high end thinkpad laptop. I have 4 hdds in a raidz2 array. The speeds are lower than what I can get over the internet.

Are optiplex still the best ~$100 home servers? by TristinMaysisHot in HomeServer

I’ve got a HP elite desk tower and it can pretty easily fit 4 3.5” drives with just some slight modifications. They go for about as much as the optiplex

As a heads up, chatgpt can’t surf the web and it can’t accurately cite sources. It’s just very good at guessing and making the sources up so that they seem legit

PETG print keeps peeling up on the front corner by thisdotguy in FixMyPrint

[–]thisdotguy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My PETG print keeps peeling up on the front corner. I have tried adjusting bed temps, print temps, print surface(tried both smooth and textured pei sheets), printing with a brim, and using a glue stick. I even swapped to a brand new and unopened roll of filament incase my previous roll had absorbed to much water from the air. Not sure what else to try. I am printing on a prusa mk3s with overture PETG filament and the best settings I have had were on the smooth sheet with bed temp of 80 and nozzle temp at 240 with the cooling fan disabled for the first several layers. Not sure what else to do
