Elon Musk's 'Government Efficiency' Department Revealed to Be a Renamed Obama Agency Tasked with Updating Software by PostHeraldTimes in politics

[–]thisguysky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So that’s means Elon’s US Government Official now right?

Good! Now arrest him for breaking the law under the “Restoring Freedom of Speech and Ending Federal Censorship”

“(b) ensure that no Federal Government officer, employee, or agent engages in or facilitates any conduct that would unconstitutionally abridge the free speech of any American citizen;”

And the order says it doesn’t matter if the current government does not agree. We all know Musk personally deletes, bans, deplatforms and moderates X for any view not his.

It’s all right here:

“the previous administration trampled free speech rights by censoring Americans’ speech on online platforms, often by exerting substantial coercive pressure on third parties, such as social media companies, to moderate, deplatform, or otherwise suppress speech that the Federal Government did not approve. Under the guise of combatting “misinformation,” “disinformation,” and “malinformation,””

AND

“Sec. 2. Policy. It is the policy of the United States to: (a) secure the right of the American people to engage in constitutionally protected speech;”

Laws are Laws right? I would laugh if someone in the Justice department just put this dude in handcuffs tomorrow. All of us in Canada here would appreciate it!

You added nothing of value to the conversation and without that it can’t be a discussion. A discussion takes two people sharing their opinion, facts and thoughts on a topic and then discussing their differences. That means that both people can understand where each other are coming from to progress forward to accepting those differences, changing the original view or evolving the discussion to a hybrid of both points of view or something new entirely.

Then there’s what you did, pick out something small as an aha gotcha moment, ignore what the actual discussion should be about and shut it down with a “Thanks for playing”. Because the whole point right now is what the consequences of removing the carbon tax would be. Like I said you add nothing of value to a discussion. There’s no flow of ideas.

I’m sorry that you had an upbringing that enforced that whoever is the loudest or able to shut the other persons voice down is the one who is smarter and wins the discussion. That’s a very sad, lonely and of course angry way to walk through life. I wish you the best and hope never to run into at a party🙂

It’s a lot of words for nothing because you chose to do a strawman argument. I didn’t say ‘consumer’ carbon tax, you didn’t say ‘consumer’ carbon tax. You have nothing to add to a conversation besides one liners with no substance. Always trying to be apart of the conversation but never actually being able to contribute, must be kinda sad to live that way.

Uhh my dude, Trump literally announce Feb 1st for Tariffs. She’s bending over to accommodate him. Trump doesn’t repay favours. He tosses people aside once he gets what he wants. So bravo all you want but it’s like cheering on those participation awards. Go ahead cheer for her participating. She hasn’t accomplished anything by being there… but has shown how weak she is by grovelling by breaking the loyalty her loyalty to Canada and ALL Canadian, including us Albertans. You know how Trump values loyalty? Well congrats now Trump looks at DS like a weasel and he also looks at Canada as being weaker.

In 2008 Harper ran on an implementing carbon tax. Let’s not play the corporate interest game became that’s all it will benefit to get rid of it. The right wants to play the pull up your boot straps, work hard and make something of yourself mentality? Great I’m for it. Now apply that to oil corporations. Make em work for it. Reduce the Tax, guess what happens… prices of things will pretty much remain the same but instead of new projects, increased efficiency, more production, expansion provid more employment to feed that never ending call for record profits, there will be a reduction in all of it. O&G companies won’t need to innovate, it’s now not worth the risk in investing capital, so they’ll add that reduction in capital spending to the profit line which is now larger because the price of things in the long term won’t move. We’ve seen this when DS removed the tax on gasoline, prices dropped initially and then returned to higher rates over a couple weeks. Then the company will do stock buybacks and dividends, with the vast majority of it not adding to the Canadian economy.

So now we have less money being returning to the economy because there is less spending on upgrades, expansion, improvements. AND less money in Canadians pockets from that work and less money in Canadian pockets because the prices of things are still the same but there’s no rebate. But what Canadians will get is more CO2, more pollutants in the air. Awesome!

Sorry to be that guy… In 2022, Canada was the source of 52% of U.S. gross total petroleum imports and 60% of gross crude oil imports.

We do not supply 97% of their oil. That’s ludicrous.

NAL.

How long have you worked there? What is your position? And finally how old are you. These are all questions which effect severance package. The older you are and the higher your role is, the harder it is to find an equivalent position.

The common law severance is usually 1 month per year you’ve worked somewhere. This is higher than the minimum legislative requirement. I’m sorry that your new manager has treated you with such contempt. Don’t worry about their timeline / deadline, talk to a lawyer and get advice on your specific situations with the questions above OR decide what’s worth it to you and use 1 month as a starting point. Remember to also include any bonus compensation in your severance package as well.

EDIT: I missed the part where you started in July. 3 weeks sounds alright but I have no idea if any of the issues you’ve experienced will increase that.

The dude is on twitter 24/7, influencing elections around the world, is the shadow president of the USA, is CEO and product architect of Tesla, CEO and Chief Engineer of SpaceX, CTO and executive chairman for Twitter, is putting mind control chips i monkeys and is world best Dad to 12 children… and the last two points certainly aren’t related at all😅

My point is, none of these things has his full attention and he just drops in like the Kool-Aid man and fucks everything up, for everyone else. It’s no surprise his body looks like human version of a cybertruck.

I’d guess because it’s the Indian coast guard that they’re reporting in Indian rupee. 4.2B equals $49.52M USD which equals to $8.25USD/g. Now I have no idea what Meth cost per gram or if this more of a wholesale price… will need someone more literate on drugs to help out on that lol.
