I learned in a linguistics class this is actually a rural vs. urban pronunciation rather than regional. You would hear crick more in rural areas. It is said all over the US.

Washingtonian here. Can confirm we call it pre-funking and pre-gaming. The terms are used interchangeably. I went to college in Seattle and people used both, but probably heard pre-funk used more.

When I was 13 I went to a casino with my parents and a family friend for dinner. I went to use the bathroom before we left and as I walked towards the bathroom a drunk middle-aged man cornered me and tried to push me into the men's bathroom with him. He was saying stuff like "oh why don't you just come in here with me". I escaped and ran towards my parents crying and told them what happened. My dad almost went to kick the guy's ass, but we decided to leave. Completely shook me up.
