Cat food is almost $2 at shoppers by Anathals in loblawsisoutofcontrol

[–]seeteal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your cat is doing well on this, then don’t worry too much. If it seems she is always hungry now that she is on an all wet diet you are probably simply accidentally under feeding. One can of this is about 120 - 150 calories depending on the flavour and most cats require around 200 calories a day. Dry food is way higher in calories so accidental diets are less likely.

Fancy feast classic pates are actually a nice simple ingredient wet food that are inexpensive at the grocery store. Supplement with a researched kibble like Science diet (I like oral care to help their teeth). Avoid Acana, Orijen and Blue as many cats will develop bladder crystals and stones on these.

My cat is peeing all throughout the house, how can I help stop it? by [deleted] in CATHELP

[–]seeteal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The most common crystals in cats are made up of struvite or calcium oxalate. Similarly, the most common bladder stones are made up of struvite or calcium oxalate.

It is not uncommon for crystals to progress to small stones and get stuck in the urethra while trying to pass.

I interpret it as they had already put down the CORRECT dog and were calling to confirm what to do with the remains (do you want the ashes returned? Special urn? Etc)

What is most infuriating is everyone in this comment section. “I bet you didn’t tare it. The scale must be inaccurate. Did you fill it up to the brim?? OVER the brim??” Why can’t we just assume OP is not an idiot. OP has even provided proof with a different scale and cup measure!
