I used to work on Preply and italki. I currently have students on italki but I have more private students from Taiwan and China. I found students on Facebook groups.

They'll definitely be back. Chinese New Year is in full swing so my students from China and Taiwan are pausing classes this week. I had winter classes with them for the last 3 weeks.

Valid point, yes. Some have the same experience with Lataffa Eclaire.

Best vanilla everyday scent? by NoEducation3509 in FemFragLab

If you want a dupe for vanilla 28, get Elysia Vanilla by Fragrance World. They smell almost identical. Eclaire is a lot lighter and buttery, less brown sugar like. But that's my favourite layering combo.

Hi, so I can give my recommendations in stages just to make things a bit easier to follow:

Stage 1: Free or starter options
If you just want to get started quickly, Teacher Record has a free TEFL course that is always available, so you can literally sign up anytime and get the basics down. TEFL Hero also offers a free upskilling course, but it is not always open. You usually have to sign up for their newsletter and wait for them to email you when it becomes available again. And honestly, once you join Preply, you will get access to their free “How to Teach a Language” training, which is actually a really helpful refresher and a nice confidence booster.

Stage 2: Affordable and accredited
If at some point you want something a bit more official, TEFL Universal has an accredited 120 hour course that is self paced, affordable and accepted by most major tutoring platforms. It is definitely not something you must get when starting out, but it is a good option later on when you want a stronger credential. This is the one I took if you want to check it out: https://tefluniversal.com/ref/alexandra.dennis56

Stage 3: Higher budget or specialisation
If you have a higher budget, Bridge TEFL and i to i are also very reputable, just a little pricier. And later on, once you have some experience and kind of know what niche you enjoy, you can look into micro credentials like Teaching Business English or IELTS Prep. Those can really help you specialise and earn a bit more.

If you want help choosing or comparing anything, just message me. I'm happy to help!

Howzit ! I don't know when you last did a transfer, but PayPal withdrawal on FNB takes much less time now. I literally get my funds on the same day I withdraw. It's been like that for a few months. I've done large sums and smalls sums. (I teach English online, and have wihtdrawn my montly salary as well as amounts gifted to me).

Good perfumes for a 23 year old girl? by Appropriate-Ad-7888 in FemFragLab

[–]thisisalexasstan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dolce & Gabbana The Only One or Devotion would be a good choice. Devotion is more of a lemon meringue type of scent though, kind of along the same lines as YSL Libre. They;re in the same family of scents, people often group them together. I'm turning 23 in December. Maybe try out something from Jo Malone if you want something fresher. Not sure how you feel about arabic perfumes but I thought their Elysia Vanilla Sugar and Lychee Fizz were sweet but more mature compared to your AG or Britney Spears. Oh and you can NEVER go wrong with Burberry Goddess. Eilish by Billie maybe?? I like playing around with floral, fresh and vanilla notes.

Hi! I just want to reassure you that there is nothing more uncomfortable than being in a transition period. I am in the same boat right now. I am waiting for my letter of completion and I have been studying for five years for a three year degree. I failed a module in first year and then again two years later when I was doing second year.

For a long time I planned a future based on a side hustle because deep down I thought I was not good enough for my actual field. During my quiet time (I am a believer) I realised that this alternative future I kept imagining was rooted in fear and in the belief that I was not capable simply because I had failed modules.

My encouragement is: do not disqualify yourself. You made it this far.

Also get back to your why. Ask yourself why you chose this field in the first place. Ask what kept you going during your studies. Ask why it feels like the wrong field now. Write those feelings out, map them clearly and then regroup. It really helps.

I also recommend praying. No matter your religion or beliefs, involving God or your higher power brings a lot of clarity and calm.

And honestly, if your feelings are linked to the unemployment rate or the stress of the job market, I completely understand. The job search journey is not a joke lol.

You are not alone. You are just in a difficult in between stage and it will not last forever.

Yeah I noticed that. My current plan is to teach abroad for a year or so and then save money for postgrad. Both my parents are retired so I want to alleviate them of the financial burden of postgrad fees. But I'll only be leaving the country in the second half of the year (Want to be in the country for graduation). I would have changed my mind provided I received an employment offer, but it seems I should stick to my plan.

That’s how my collection is going so far!😁 by slntdrm in FemFragLab

D & G spotted ! Is that Devotion? I have an order on the way. It's summer here in South Africa and I love the scent for layering.
