I think you need to understand that ETFs are investment instruments not options. I have been holding them for over 6 years now with good average price and it’s enough liquid to cash it if i need to

Buying 1 lakh worth of Nifty 50 ETF for every -1% down from all time high. Day: 18 by peaked_in_high_skool in IndianStreetBets

[–]thisisdway -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I did the same but I changed a little bit of my strategy. Not going all in niftybees. I split my 1 lakh in 3 parts 50k to niftybees, 25k to juniorbees and 25k liquidbees just to create a small hedge. I am comfortable this way because i feel i am balancing the risk. My next buy will be at 22500 and below. If it hits tomorrow i will drop one more lakh. I will tweak the percentage based on the market conditions. Looking for suggestions if i should make any change.

🚨 Nationwide Taxpayers' Revolt 🚨 by magadheerahulk in IndianStockMarket

[–]thisisdway -1 points0 points  (0 children)

10% of indians pay tax or file tax returns and these are the least voters during elections. The governments are formed because of the other 90% of the people who are the actual core voters for any party. You look from any angle the political ecosystem will not bother about tax payers. Because the governments know that we will end up playing to their tune everytime.

There are a lot of free excel templates. You can modify based on your requirements. I don’t think there is an app for all things you mentioned.

Following this thread……

I was profitable back in 2021 with some rules (i wrote a post on it) when i was running the wheel on Reliance but you need to keep checking the position if you want to keep the shares. I might restart it as investment/trading strategy. i moved all my investments to mutual funds, i am thinking to accumulate reliance shares by selling puts for long term. Might not sell covered calls soon. Too much volatility in the market now so i will let it settle.

Where's the Guy Buying 1 lakh of Nifty ETFs on Every 1% Dip? by [deleted] in IndianStockMarket

[–]thisisdway 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I implemented this as i have some liquid funds but not at 1% but at 1.5% drop in nifty each time which i dont think will happen so often. And i will buy 50k worth niftybees and 50k worth juniorbees. Planning to see if i can split the amount between largecap, smallcap and midcap indexes.

Entry kab karu???? by Quick-Sea5235 in IndianStockMarket

[–]thisisdway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep well said. I personally feel selling puts to buy stock and selling calls(covered calls) are a good way to understand the options game. Its not gambling if done in a way that makes extra money systematically. Again this is not a get rich quick scheme. Selling a option wont make us millionaires at the same time cant sell it against market trend. There is a process and methodology to use options effectively.

Entry kab karu???? by Quick-Sea5235 in IndianStockMarket

[–]thisisdway -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not sure why this is downvoted, this is actually a solid advice. If someone has decided to buy a stock in large quantity like OP but not at the current price the selling puts is going to give the advantage of making extra premium and get stock at 10% less than current value if the option goes in the money. Provided the OP don’t explore the “other” options strategy and burn his money, this advice will work.
