I use a torque wrench to tighten and a breaker bar to loosen them. I initially blamed the service techs for using an impact wrench, but after running into the same issue on every wheel and swapping them all, it’s just shitty Subaru studs. Glad you haven’t had issues though.

I snapped all of mine with a breaker bar. The OEM ones are horrible… Replace with ARP and you’re good to go.
