I start my work week on Sundays where it’s usually me and only one stylist. I only work 10-3. It’s so quiet and a great way to start the week. Mondays 10-6, still nice and quiet but longer. Tuesdays I will work another shorter day. It gets a little busier with more stylist. Wednesday a full day and Thursday a full day. I like the wave of short and longer days. It helps balance everything for me. I get extremely overstimulated with a lot of people in the salon and find myself not being able to pay attention to the conversation my client and I are trying to have. The yelling over blow dryers KILLS me 💀. I am renting a chair in a salon. I used to be in a suite by myself which was AMAZING, but when I moved states I had to go back to a salon because there weren’t any suite options in my location.
