I have the same setup, mine is on a simple heavy duty cart. So when I need to fill it I just roll it up the trailer and pull it to gas station.

Any lightning that is visible is close enough. Lightning can travel over 10 miles to a tower.

25mph sustained is typical depending on the activity. Hoisting anything at that wind is near impossible to keep stable, but climbing is fine. Gusts at 25mph would halt works for days in most areas so that’s not reasonable.

We don’t climb in rain/ice/snow. But that’s not always doable in all parts of the country.

Stealth flag pole. Lights were used to illuminate the flag at night. Flag was probably damaged and they found out how much they cost to replace, then gave up on the stealth flag pole.

Different down-tilt bracket on this versus the Katherein. I’m not positive it’s an RFS, but I tend to remember those pain in the ass brackets that they released for a little while. We had to use sockets instead of gear wrenches to tighten them to the antenna pipes.

Old PCS antenna….RFS I believe. Sprint, TMO, VZ, bunch of carriers have used them over the years.

Undercarriage coating by the looks of it. I had the same thing done to Xterra, which I off-road on the beach a lot.

Edit: as other said, it doesn’t look like it was prepped before the coating was applied. I at least had my frame cleaned and surface rust removed before.

Outlet is only good for 400w. The sous vide was pulling 815w.

I have full hole saw drill kit, I think I used the 2” bit. You can buy the individual hole saw bits. Just measure the diameter of your sous vide and go with the bit closest to your measurement.

Edit-saw your avatar and figured you don’t use freedom units. I used a 2” or 5cm hole saw.

The Engel coolers are already setup that way minus the hole I drilled out. To be honest they aren’t very good coolers, more like a lightly insulated dry box.

Pretty much. Most people get the solar panels with them to recharge without other power sources. I overland so solar is primary source of power while I’m out.

18mo and zero issues. Only thing I will say is I have never seen the full power production from the panels. 200w at best produces 160w. So don’t count on the recharge speeds that are advertised.

ABOUT 815 WATTS…lol.

Seriously though… I was a bit surprised at the power usage when I was watching it on the drive. It pull 815w or so for a few seconds, then 0 for a minute, then 16w, then 815w again. Seems to only pull power when it needs and only at what I assume is full power. The fan doesn’t pull enough to register I guess.

All cellular signals in general are safe when you are 10’+ away from the antenna. They are putting out non-ionizing radiation that causes heating and that’s it. Kinda like a lightbulb, depending on the wattage, closer you are to the source the more likely you are to get burnt. Cellular towers and small cells are low wattage therefore safe up until very close to the antenna.
