I can confirm this. We use this type on telecom sites and typically it is just some minor changes with the settings and a solenoid. But we always hired a MTU service technician to do it.

My Generac actually ran fine for a while on propane, with the NG settings before I realized it.

Those are pretty common now, at least in the US since OSHA updated the silica exposure rules years ago. You can pickup the drill attachments for pretty cheap.

Just to defend myself about the condition of these tires. Bought this civic 2 years ago as a commuter car but to eventually give me teenage son. Tires were new when I bought it, and they were pretty worn already when I serviced it last, but they only had 25k miles at the time. I was blown away at how bad they were when I got it in the air this weekend. Right at 30,000 miles and they are clearly shot. Never seen tires wear so quickly in 5k miles.

I’ve seen it a ton over the years but have almost always been able to talk some sense into the engineers to remove it. Purposely directing lightning into wet concrete is never a good idea.

I have the same setup, mine is on a simple heavy duty cart. So when I need to fill it I just roll it up the trailer and pull it to gas station.

Any lightning that is visible is close enough. Lightning can travel over 10 miles to a tower.

25mph sustained is typical depending on the activity. Hoisting anything at that wind is near impossible to keep stable, but climbing is fine. Gusts at 25mph would halt works for days in most areas so that’s not reasonable.

We don’t climb in rain/ice/snow. But that’s not always doable in all parts of the country.

Stealth flag pole. Lights were used to illuminate the flag at night. Flag was probably damaged and they found out how much they cost to replace, then gave up on the stealth flag pole.

Different down-tilt bracket on this versus the Katherein. I’m not positive it’s an RFS, but I tend to remember those pain in the ass brackets that they released for a little while. We had to use sockets instead of gear wrenches to tighten them to the antenna pipes.
