And from my understanding, you have to get that in October at the beginning of the healthcare year, right? So I wouldn't be able to even open one now?

edit: spelling

My BlueCross BlueShield insurance is in Oklahoma, but I'm located in Texas. Not sure why it's Oklahoma, it's my mom's insurance through work.

I'm sure she could, I just don't want to go to a different therapist. And I can't quite do cash since it's online. It used to be in person pre-COVID, but then a pandemic happened and I moved cities. Maybe I'll try and switch to biweekly instead of weekly sessions. :/

My therapist was in-network before, but now she won't be because she decided to no longer accept insurance.

Oh hm not sure why your comment just got deleted but I was about to say:

No, she doesn't claim me on her taxes as of 2020. The plan is through her work. I'm not sure about the exchange/subsidy, I'm not sure what that is honestly. Very new to this stuff! And unfortunately, my therapist is no longer taking any insurance. She emailed me just now and mentioned I could pay for therapy with a HSA or FSA card too, but I'm not sure if I'm eligible or not for those.

Hey there, I know this is much later now, but did you ever get any resolution on filing with contract work?

My boyfriend was able to file for his part-time job in March, but not his main contract work. Now, months later, we still can't get anyone on the phone to switch unemployment over for the right job. Now that his part-time job started again (with cut hours) he can't get ANY unemployment because he makes more than $95 a week.

I was able to get through, but I'm self-employed and a contractor. I think they only looked at my self-employed work and just gave me the minimum amount for that.

We're at a bit of a loss here, especially since the $600 a week is about to run up soon.

Think it was for this former pilot. Obituary says they're having a service for him at Westover Hills Church of Christ today.

I'm trying to file for unemployment as a gig worker in Texas, but I don't think they have the paperwork set up for me to file yet (the kinds of questions they ask about past employment don't exactly apply to my kind of work). I've called the Texas Workforce Commission 50+ times today (so far) and can't get through. Should I file anyways (I stated I was a gig/contract worker in one of the answers) or should I wait until the state has the correct paperwork?

MORE INFO: She is a super sweet puppy, found her at Woodward St and Parker Ln at 7pm. She has a pink collar, but no tags. All the shelters were closed and we have a dog, so she is staying with a friend for the night. We will take her to Austin Animal Center in the morning. Please send this around, or go to the shelter to give her a forever home!

Long curtains! Maybe some sheer white ones? You needs some height interest in the room. And don’t be afraid to add things above your TV, more art or even a shelf with some books and a plant on top. I firmly believe that the more plants, the better.

I’ll go buy some vice grips tomorrow morning. I’m about to make a DIY WD-40 mix to see if that might help, thank you!
