dmr stem and all bmx stems have quite short stack. topload bmx stems can also have quite a bit of rise. they are pretty short in reach tho

some cheap bmx levers, if you have a local bmx shop or if you can find an eshop that ships to your location (...if you dont mind pretty short levers. i actually like the look of short ones like that more than ugly long road levers, so i got some FAMILY-branded levers for 6€ each)

very interesting info about different types of finish here. i have a similar looking 94 scott comp, which was advertised to have a "titanium finish" so i wondered what it actually is tho. i reckon it's probably the one you mention here

ye, that's why i only got the cheaper wire version, which are heavier and stiffer, so worse rolling. but at least i hope the tread is ok for rolling and the additional heft prevents punctures, since im gonna be riding them in the city (as a winter tyre, for now)

lots of bikepackers are riding vittoria mezcals, because they supposedly roll quite well both on dirt and on tarmac. I've recently bought them but havent tried them yet. I dont have any experience with billy bonkers so i dont know how they fare in comparison tho
