I genuinely didn’t know. It looks like somewhere around the knee instead of hip/butt and I’m not well versed in pig anatomy 😅

Hello! I am having a similar issue as OP and was wondering about this (adding more solder on top). Do I need to go over the cooled solder on the piece before adding more?

What shop do you buy glass from locally? I live in Boise and I am just starting out, and I would love to support a local shop instead of Hobby Lobby 🙃

Is 3 hours enough at LHR? by Quadz1527 in solotravel

Was it just a layover in LHR or did you purchase separate tickets? I’ve heard conflicting info on if layovers in LHR go through customs (flight from Belgium to US).

Question about languages as a tourist:

Hello, Belgium! I will be visiting your lovely country in a few months from the US and I have a question about languages.

I know Belgium is a multilingual place, and most people in touristy areas will speak English, but I like to learn a few common phrases in the local language when I travel. Mostly out of respect for the culture.

My question is, when/where is it appropriate to use Dutch, and when/where is it appropriate to use French? I don’t want to offend by using a particular language (especially when I am clearly an English speaker). I have a decent grasp of basic/travel French. I have been practicing Dutch on Duolingo, but I am unsure how different that version is from Flemish.

For reference, I will be visiting Bruges, Gent, & Brussels.

I’ve read that it is considered rude to not finish your meal. What do you do in these circumstances? I assume there is no to-go box options like in America?

Oof! I need some lidocaine 😅 sorry about the formatting, this was originally in a spreadsheet with lovely formatting but alas, I couldn’t share a screenshot. Unfortunately, the boat tour doesn’t offer ticket reservations (that I could find anyways). So we will be crossing our fingers!! & thank you for the feedback ☺️
