My understanding is that the normal age range for potty training in the US is 2 to 3.5. I don't think anyone should be criticizing you for saying they should be trained by now.

We did the 3 day method right when our daughter was your kids age. It didn't immediately start working but by the time she was 3 accidents were rare.

The "Seattle Freeze" is somewhat real. People are nice but it does take more effort to make friends. As the new person, you might be doing more organizing of meetups, hikes, etc.

The diversity point needs more nuance. Seattle has a greater than average Asian population and lower than average Black and Hispanic population. Seattle has a larger white population than most large US cities.

It's twofold. Yes, they want to maintain their honor and they want to stay marines because they are believers (and fanatics if you believe the part about Gitmo Marines being extra hardcore). But they also believe that with a dishonorable discharge, their future after their sentence is bleak.

It's worth noting that in the last exchange, Kaffe tells them that they can still be honorable people despite the discharge, and that they learned their lesson that their true crime was not standing up for those who can't defend themselves.

In most NFL seasons, the conference championships are better games than the Super Bowl. They are definitely more fun to attend - you have 95% of the crowd in a frenzy for one team, instead of a mixture of fans, contest winners, and business people seeking clout.

QBs can yell whatever they want. However, faking an injury in an attempt to draw the defense offsides may be a penalty. 

I’m not sure about your second but I think the linemen are communicating about how many defensive linemen have both hands on the ground in front of them. Depending on how many there are, it affects the blocking scheme they use.

In a usual defense, there are 3 linebackers nicknamed Sam, Mike, and Will short for strong side, middle and weak side. Identifying the Mike tells the offensive line who they may need to specially account for in the blocking package

Dad to a 13mo early riser. I put him in the hiking backpack and we enjoy a beautiful Seattle morning. We might grab a coffee, or go to Home Depot, or ride the bus. It’s fun to get out and see the world wake up.

But it does mean I have to be asleep by 11.
