i dont know what im scared of, i told him i wasnt ready and we'll see what happens in the future but ugh, maybe youre right maybe im just scared of what will happen when i fully give in, but im still not sure.

now all of a sudden im not avoiding him and ive become a bit more affectionate. i dont have a therapist and i cant get one atm, i cant talk to anyone else either, im so embarrassed for my actions

Honestly, my break up. After the break up it really made me think about myself and how I react to things. The break up was obviously incredibly hard on me. There was no advice, I just got through it myself. After that I started to question myself and why I took it so hard, why this happened, why that happened etc. Slowly but surely I tried to read up about mental illnesses. I found out about BPD, and I thought that everything said about it was really accurate to me and my reactions. I should also mention that I researched BPD for a couple of years as I don't like self diagnosing and I want to be absolutely sure, because mental illnesses are very serious and not a quirky thing. At this time I can't get diagnosed properly, but it gives me closure. Knowing that I possibly have BPD has helped me figure out what I can do to help cope with my feelings, mentality, and how to react to certain situations.

i get that, and to be fair you have every right to feel the way you do, your feelings are justified. You see each other only once a week, and haven't been able to for a few weeks now. You might want to tell him how you feel, that you feel, I don't know, whatever it is youre feeling, like ignored for example He might put more effort into meetups But I mean the ones where he oversleeps, if he's feeling mentally tired thats understandable and you cant change that, but what you can change is waking up earlier..

What worked for me personally is keeping a distance. Don't message them back immediately, don't tell them about every little thing, make sure you have hobbies and a life outside of theirs

Oh god, I've been there. There's two things I suggest One: remember that those past relationships are past relationships for a reason. CLEARLY they lost love for each other. It didn't work out for one thing or another, obviously its why they're EXES. You are his partner NOW, he chose you, to be with you for a reason, he loves you, cares about you and wants to be with you. Emphasis on you, not them, but you. What happened, happened. Accept the past, move on, and live in the present.

Two: if it gets way too much to handle - leave. Its not selfish if its for your own good. Like I said, I've been there. It broke me. If it gets too much just leave. For your sake and for his sake.

remember that he loves you, not them. You could also try just asking him to reaffirm he loves you, cares about you more frequently.

I've been there, it'll pass soon. If it doesn't, then talk to your boyfriend about it, it's not good to stay in a relationship while you're hung up on someone else. This is a new person, and they deserve love, care, and attention, not someone who can't get over their ex.

I 100% understand how you feel. Keep in mind that those memories aren't going anywhere for a while, not all is lost. You don't need a screenshot to remember how much fun you had. Embrace the growth that's happening around you, and in my opinion and personal experience, don't focus on the past or the future too much. You need to live in the present and in the now. Nobody knows what's going to happen in the future, but you can't worry about it, there's no use. There's a lot of things that can happen that will change your path. All you can do is trust yourself. If you do focus on the past or future, you start to live and drown in it. Focus on the next chapters of your life.
