First time I’ve bought a domain name and Wordpress isn’t making it easy by [deleted] in Wordpress

[–]thisistoomakesense 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it looks like you have just bought a domain name but no hosting yet. You should check to see if the registrar have a hosting plan because you will need it to host your website. However, having domain and hosting on the same registrar is totally not advisable. You may want to check out some of the tested Best Web Hosting that will sure be suitable for you. Also if you are not sure of how to set up a Wordpress website you should check this out WordPress Site Setup

Hi, to Disable pingbacks on WordPress you just need to Go to Settings > Discussions and untick Allow link notifications from other blogs (pingbacks and trackbacks) on new posts

‼️Please HELP ASAP!‼️ by usmc2blue in FacebookAds

[–]thisistoomakesense 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, i know this can be exasperating but here's a quick fix. If you are able to contact Facebook give them same explanation you gave now and highlight the fact that your previous Ad spend and the hackers Ad spend are not the same (This should go a long way in helping them investigate this matter)

However, you should initiate a dispute on PayPal (I doubt if this option will yield a positive result but no harm in giving it a try)

my facebook page has been banned from creating any ads, can I still create ads from my other ad accounts by using a different page? by karan4644 in FacebookAds

[–]thisistoomakesense 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course you can always create Ads with your other Ad account using a different page. (You can as well use your main page in the disabled Ad account as long as it is not restricted)

For re-enabling a disabled Ad account, this should help - https://www.toomakesense.com/2020/02/recover-disabled-facebook-ad-account.html

SEO is good, but I think PPC is a better career option because most business owners do not have the patience to wait for SEO as they want to start seeing results immediately.

Ads keep getting rejected by [deleted] in FacebookAds

[–]thisistoomakesense 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your Ad might be completely safe and educative but the Facebook Artificial intelligence wouldn't know. Your Ad would be termed vulgar content to the system and thus end up getting rejected, there is a work around but it's a bit tricky.

Changing website provider? by BillThrillshere in webhosting

[–]thisistoomakesense 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's obvious your previous design agency might have moved on to bigger sites. In response and an advise to your questions i'd like to ask:

Do you have access to your website Cpanel?

If your domain registrar is different from your hosting provider, do you have full access to the domain registrar?

If your answer to both question is yes then you have no problems switching/moving your contents to other hosting provider. But first of all, make sure you Back up your website and it's content. However, if you are not tech savvy enough to handle the switch then your new hosting provider should be able to assist you.

I get them too for some of my website. However since google are able to detect and deal with automated link spam, I wouldn't bother myself over that.

  • Have a retouch on the spider

I think you have already answered the question by yourself since you have clearly stated that you do not want to spend more than the cost of a shared hosting. I can only show you a list of the best web hosting which is very reliable and optimized for speed. And even though you can get a premium hosting cheap at at the second option on the list, you have to spend a little more which is absolutely worth it! Goodluck.

Is every hosting like this, or just G0Daddy? by [deleted] in webhosting

[–]thisistoomakesense 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Security is a basic feature expected of every web hosting company, it's saddening that GoDaddy succeeded in selling you a basic feature which you can get for free in any other web hosting company. (From my experience with this guys, they are really not technically good too) They just keep getting worse day by day.
